inverted nipples

Postby guest 1 on Mon May 19, 2008 10:55 am

am so glad to have found this page as this is the most embarrassing thing in my life and glad that im not alone! i hav tried the nipplette and found that it was so obvious under my top that i gave up (this was about 10 yrs ago) when i was 18 i went and got one of them pierced-i didnt get the other one done as i chickened out! but yes that certainly has helped, it does protude now and definatley doesnt go back in like the other one, its not very big but definatley isnt inverted anymore. i also breast fed from that side with no problems-except baby got far too much milk sometimes! (obviously there are 2 extra large holes!) i took out the piercing at 6 months pregnant as i was leaking milk laods from that side, but its been out for 4 years now and nipple is excactly the same-reading this tho has encouraged me to go to a female piercer and get tyhem both done as i cannot afford surgery and it seems that it isnt always successful anyway xx

Hi I have the same problem inverted nipples and it really does get me down. I have been using nipplet on off for 10 years and it worked to a certain extent but i'm still not happy. I have booked an appointment tomorrow to get them pierced. I love to go topless on holiday and am soon going on honeymoon - sick of feeling like a little freak(even know my fiancé doesn’t care 1 bit). I will take photos of before and after if anyone wants to see the difference? Wish me luck i have a fear of needles "no pain no gain" XX

Hi just replying back to my previous post " I don't know " Now i do and wish i had done this sooner - I got them pierced and it was kinda sore but well well worth it. The place i went to was great and the guy was so sweet and really understanding. I cried after the first one not because it was sore but because it looked amazing. I don't mean to sound shallow i know there is more to life but i love my boobs now and am so glad i went through a bit of discomfort for the result i got. My fiancé loves them and is really chuffed that I have put my inverted nipple bug bear to bed – Thankx for all the advice. :-)

Hey please don't be sad i know how you feel. I had inverted nipples and my mum used to say that i shouldn't feel sad as it is would be fun getting boyfriends to coax get them out. Everyone has little things that they hate but try and turn it into a positive - having worries makes you appreciate other peoples insecurities (making you a kinder person). Like i said in the above post i got my nipples pierced (a week ago) and it has fixed them. Well i say fixed them they don't go in the way anymore (kinda stand out the bar makes & keeps them put) and i show them to everyone now. Look into it i am not going to lie it is a little sore but i am 26 now getting married and had had enough can’t w8 to go topless on honeymoon. I love my little pierced nipples and wish I had done it sooner. Cleaning is essential XXX

nipplette falling off help

Postby Guest on Sat May 31, 2008 1:51 pm

http://www.motheringfromtheheart.com/Nipletteinstructions1.htm

has info on the niplette. I bought them ages ago, found that they come off at night but if I could wear them as much as they say then it would work. It was amazing to see my breasts with normal nipples for the first time even if they did retract when i stopped using it. On that website above they say to try it with breast shells to stop them coming off at night... might give it sa go

i have inverted nipples, but one more than the other... its so embarrasing because i get really embarrased when a guy see's them, and try to hide them, my friends and my mum just seem to always have them out, i dont know if i am just paranoid, but it really gets me down. i dont feel c0mfortable with them and so i cant relax whenever i have them out ehivh is NOT often. im 17 and i am glad i found this site because i thought i was jus a bit weird :S im too scared to get them pierced its really not my thing but i think ill try nipplettes. i just feel like if i like a guy and they like me then when they see me topless they'll be put off.. i remember my last boyfriend said to me.. whats wrong with your nipples.. anmd i wanted to cry.. i ended that straight away but im so paranoid :(

Inverted nipples

Postby Em1 on Thu Jun 12, 2008 12:27 pm

It's so nice to hear that there are people out there that have inverted nipples!! I'm 26 have 32E boobs and its only my left one thats inverted. I'm using a nipplette at the moment as i'm 4 months pregnant and really want to breast feed. I'm finding it a bit of a nightmare to conceal under clothes though, and if I wear it at night it just falls off. It does however work really well used with a bit of vaseline. I must say i think those of you that are getting them pierced, your very brave!
I really understand how stressy it can be if your younger Rach, I've been there! I had a nightmare with boyfriends when i was younger mainly because i made it an issue. I used to apologise to boys if it put them off which is ridiculous i know. I have learned that there are men that it doesnt bother, and actually enjoy the challenge of sucking them out! The important thing is that your happy with yourself.

The niplette won't work for everyone. I bought and wore them for 3 months with minimal results. When I was trying to breastfeed I realized what the problem was. My nipples are too big for the nipplette, they were just so inverted I had never seen the outside ring until I had been pumping for a week! I felt a little ripped off that I had invested so much time and hopes into the nipplette. I wish the mothering from the heart website had mentioned something about the fact that the nipplette would not fit everyone, because with inverted nipples you don't always realize what they actally look like. Breastfeeding hasn't worked out for me both times because of my inverted nipples.

I'm sorry they never worked out for you. Your right though maybe they should have different sized ones! The thing is not many people would know how big their nipps were. It's a mystery! xx

hi im really pleased i found this forum and knowing its more common than i thought. im 21 and have inverted nipples i have tried the nipplets also and i would recomment people to use a lot of moisturiser on them before u put the on it makes the sucking less uncomfortable tho its not really that pain full any, they stay on batter and also your nipples crack and bleed when they dri, i also found that my nipples weep and after seconds go back in, at night they fall off and during the day u cant hide them and putting on a bra knocks them off......huff. surgery seems pointless expensive and results dissapointing so im seriously thinking about gettingboth mine pierced. any 1 got other sugestions. i am really embarresed about them and although my breasts are a nice size and shape my nipples compleatly ruin the way they look and i dont feel sexy at all.

Happy nipples ;-)

My nipples are great now one is better than the other but i love them and i actually get sensations now. I didn’t like guys touching them- just felt a bit freakish. I think I blocked any feeling I got from them because of they way i felt. Now when i even get a wee chill they tingle and it is so lovely and kind of cheeky as no one really knows what’s going on.
I don't regret getting them done actually wish I had got them done ages ago. I am not brave quite the opposite but i just thought 5 sec per nipple pain is nothing compared to the amount of time i used to take with Niplette. Hope this answered your question. XX
