Should I wear adult diapers?

I am 35 and have suffered urinary incontinence for the last ten years necessitating having to wear diapers and plastic pants all the time both for day wear and at night. I am totally use to them and find them extremely comfortable.

Recently I have been buying them on line from www.fetware.com who specialise in adult diapers and plastic pants and have a wide range of some very pretty styles. I wet myself without even realising it but I always keep my dresses and skirts dry. I felt very self conscious having to wear diapers at first but now its no problem and they make me feel secure.

I have had to wear diapers or nappies 24/7 for the last ten years since I was 23 when I started having embarrassing leaks in my knickers. At first I used absorbent pads but they were not effective so I had to wear towelling nappies under plastic pants. I have tried various suppliers and there is some good quality stuff out there including plastic panties in the style of sexy knickers. I live at home and my mum changes me but I keep a clean nappy if needed at work where I change myself in the loo (of course!). In the last three years I have also developed occasional faecal incontinence which often occurs at night in bed if I have been drinking alcohol but my nappy and plastic knickers always prevent me soiling the bed.

I have worn nappies for so long I no longer even notice I have them on and no longer feel ashamed at having to wear them.

Its good to know others have this problem of incontinence and have to wear nappies. 18 months ago I started wetting the bed at night for no apparent reason. My GP said I was suffering from anxiety and put me on anti-depressants but they have had little effect and I have worn a nappy ever since but only at night as its not a problem in the day.

To be honest I have come to enjoy it. I feel so secure in a nappy with plastic pants on top and knowing that I can wet and everything will be okay. Its not a sexual thing but just a really comfortable feeling.

Just been reading through the posts on here.
There are many different reasons to Wear nappies, some medical,
some for other reasons.
I personally wear for both medical reasons and because I like the feeling
of comfort and security that wearing gives me.
Comfort because they feel nice to wear, security because I wake in the morning with a dry bed.

Some wear for Festish or sexual need, I can live with that, I need them
Have to wear them so why not have some fun with something you have to do anyway?

Anyone just using nappies or plastic pants to spice up their lovelife
why not? what harm does it do, if both adults are consenting go for it I say.

I would love to have a few female friend who either don't mind or partake
in wearing as friends.

Iam hapy ive found this site,as i thought i was the only 1.I suffer frm a medical problem wiv my bladder which means i carnt control it. The only time I wear disposable nappies is when I go on holiday, and I do wear KOTEX night time sanitary towels in my knickers during the day for my little daytime leaks.

A couple of times I came home from school to se my mum had put washing on the clothes line and 3 or 4 freshly laundered nappies would be flapping in the wind along with a few pairs of plastic pants Only my imediate family know so I didn't want all the neighbours knowing aswell

You say you are 13 and still constantly in nappies, don't you think you are getting a bit too old to be changed by your Mum. I have been sorting myself out since I was around 10 years old I'd hate my Mum to see my private parts now. Obviously she does see me in a nappy sometimes but thats all and she washes them for me and buys all my plastic pants for me.
When I first tried terry nappies I had a real struggle to get them on properly and in the end Mum demonstated how I should do it with a face flannel and a doll. Apart from the occassional prick from my nappy pins I am an expert at putting a nappy on now. Just for a matter of interest which part of the country do you live I live in the south west.

hay holly yeah, iam 13. Everyday i wake up, i prey iam dry, but asuall my nappy is wet tru. I wud do anything for it to stop rite nw..iam still wearing nappies for day time,aswell as bedtime due to my problem. sumtimes i get really dwn and upset, as babies wear nappies day nd nite, nt a 13yr old.

me and my mum hav never seen it, as iam to old to hav my nappies put on by her. my mum has always changd my nappies, its justd a routine, she never makes it a issue, whn ive hd a accidnt, i justd tell her, it only tkes a couple of minutes to change my nappy as i wear disposables.

My mum is very careing and understanding twards my problem, and never treats me as a baby., but says its better to hav a wet nappy, thn having wet knickers and clothes, whre people can see ive hd an accidnt

Lynne you are spot on. There's nothing wrong with an adult wearing a nappy either because they have to or because they enjoy it. I started wearing a nappy and plastic pants at night when I was 25 because of nocturnal wetting and later had to wear one during the day as well. My incontinence lasted three years but by that time I was so used to wearing nappies that I have continued to do so 24/7 ever since (I'm 36). They give me a wonderful sense of security and I love being able to wet when I am in public without anyone knowing. They have also come in very useful when I have had an upset tummy although a full nappy needs changing fairly quickly.
