Ok, before I embark on a curious topic of taboo and get myself branded in the weirdo category let me just say Im also trying to understand this and discover why on earth I seem to have this dare I say 'fetish'. And I dont want to lessen or disrespect the woman who have posted more serious subjects of discussion so for that I must apologise and if I do offend I will remove.

Im a professional, articulate, attractive prof guy (Ill stop there before I blow my own trumpet) but I seem soooo curious about breastfeeding? Is that normal? Now I love boobs and all and find them all so wonderful and as individual as a fingerprint but I think my appreciation has led me to this new interest.

Is it weird that I find the act of breastfeeding beautiful, stimulating, sensual and dare I say even arousing. I know some thoughts shouldnt be shared so Im sure I may regret this one but maybe Im not alone. But I would love to even just watch as I have never even experienced the act and feel impolite to stare if I see the act in public. But the idea of actually suckling is woohoooooo to me. I know there is a whole dodgy fetish world out there but do woman like the idea of nursing someone - other that the God given intent of feeding your baby. Is it a weirdo thing or do woman also like to share the feeling and want to do this or another weird men obsession with sex.

Is it simply, no norman no-mates your mom just didnt feed you enough milk as a kid. Am I wonky or just too curious for my own good, cause all I want to do is experience this? Help, Milkman me

Well I'd say that this would be better answered in the sex forums but to answer your question no it's not that unusual. My husband likes to 'nurse' (I'm not lactating) before he goes to sleep and quite a few of the guys that I went to collage with commented about me nursing my daughter (I was allowed to bring her to most of my classes with me) and that it was 'natural and beautiful'. Yes while I was nursing my daughter I was covered and didn't just have my tit hanging out Razz .

I think what you are experiencing is common but not many are so open to express it.

I didn't have a period till my daughter was about 20 months. Although by that time we had cut down on how often she nursed and I ovulated, got pregnant and miscarried before I had my first period.
As long as you 'feed on demand' and don't stick to an 'every 3hrs' type schedule you won't get a period. The reason is feeding frequently keeps hormone levels up in your body. If you stop BF'ing or don't BF often enough the levels will go down and you CAN get pregnant before you have your first period (personal experience).

LoL well some people will say 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2 years..... it all depends on who you ask. I nursed my daughter till she was almost 3 and I plan on nursing any more children for just as long. Personally I think by 3 they should be old enough to find other ways to comfort and soothe them. My daughter was only nursing to go to sleep at night and for comfort.... maybe twice to three times a day? I'm all for breastfeeding but I think the mothers that nurse school age children are taking it a little far imo. Laughing Laughing

I thought that too it would quite embarassing for the kid too to be still reliant on breastfeeding at school age

I'm new and just getting the hang of posting a reply so im going to jump in. My opinion is there are many that think breastfeeding is sensual. Me being one those, my wife thoroughly enjoys when i am on or around her breasts and nipples. We did a bit when she was breastfeeding but she wasn't sure that was right.

She is a boob girl! when we have s*x she absolutely loves when i kiss and suck on them, i often see her looking at me and wonder what she's thinking. We dont talk during sex but thats another topic. I have wondered what she's thinking about, either taking her back when she breastfeed our kids or that i'm another women. Heck she might just like the way it looks. I'm learning. I know in pictures she loves seeing a womens red lips just around the tip of another womens nipple. Good question

Yes, it totall does! You burn an average of 500 to 600 calories a day from breastfeeding. Your body takes what you eat and drink and turns it into breastmilk. It's basically burning the food and calories and you're not even exercising. It's the easiest weight loss ever. If you want to lose weight after the baby is born, I would recommend breastfeeding. However, you will be hungrier than normal because you're burning the food so fast so you have to be careful not to eat a lot more because then you'd be cancelling out the 600 calories.
