I heard today on Radio 4 that the military are now in partnership with ZanuPF and running the government. Mugabe is a THUG

Watching him grinning like a psychotic estate agent at that food conference was sickening

kinda makes me questions (even more) the war in Iraq. Sometimes they claim to save people and sometimes they dont

What makes him any less accountable than Saddam? His human rights violations are outrageous and his people are going through untold suffering. What? - he doesnt threaten to produce weapons therefore his people can just suffer while we do nothing

I find it difficult to condone assassination, but if anyone deserves it Mugabe does - swanning around whilst his people die of hunger because of his policies.
I wonder if he hasn't just basically gone mad, I've read that he was OK in his early days.

Well it demonstrates the hypocrisy pretty well. Iraq was never about the Iraqi people or WMD, it was about oil. Zimbabwe isn't much use to Bush and his oilmen, so the people are left to suffer.

TB plotted an invasion - who knows whether GB will do anything.

Doubtful, considering his popularity rating and the world economic position. That is a great shame.

I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not given the shambles of Iraq.
At least it would be for an honest cause not some b*llocks about WMD.
If there is a genuine plan about what we're going to do afterwards, how we get out again and Bush and his clowns aren't involved then Brown should consider it - at least he could be doing something for the good for a change.
A very high-risk strategy though in my opinion.
