I've enjoyed wearing lycra for several years but never very openly until recently.
A few weeks ago i was in Vancouver BC and had a chance to visit Wreck Beach. This is a clothing optional beach so I opted to wear just a black leotard to walk around. Although this a clothing optional area only a handful of people were naked. However nobody looked twice at me and it felt great wear something so comfortable and feel comfortable doing it.
Back it my hotel I went for a swim in just leotard, again a few looks but nobody was upset, i even had a chat with a couple who were playing with a waterproof camera and they treated me as if i was perfectly normal.
Back home I've been walking in in the park in various combinations of Leotard over and under
tights, with and without a tee-shirt. In general with a tee shirt on top people treat you normally. With
tights over leotard most people try to ignor you and with leotard over
tights you are treated like a wirdo - probably rightly so.
So i think i have established what is reasonable in public for me, now for some further experiments!
