I started growing early on, but for a long time it just looked like I was getting thick, if you know what I mean.. I didn't start to really look pregnant until about 6 months. (I'm 8 months now) So for me, I was pretty small when I got pregnant, and have carried small my entire pregnancy, and this is my first pregnancy, so it took a little while. Even now, people know right away that I'm pregnant and not just pudgy, but when people ask how far along I am, they're all surprised I'm as far as I am, and think I look only 5 or 6 months. Be patient.

Thanks very much!.. I must admit I am a little impatient. Cant wait to actualy see signs of the baby on the outside. This is my first also.
As your way in front of me.. pls could you advise whether or not the extreem tiredness goes away after the first 12 weeks. Its unbearable.. but dont get me wrong im enjoying experiencing everything!...
Im so excited. Will you be finding out whether its a boy or girl.. or have you already done so?
Im seeing the midwife for the first time next week!..

I started to show at 5 months plus. Although I am quite obviously pregnant now most people didn't know till very recently (I am 29 weeks now). This is my first one too Very Happy
As for the tireness, from week 6 to about week 16 I was extremely tired and had sickness too, but it did eventually go (till now that is) Now I am in my last trimester and the old tireness has returned and lack of iron in my blood hasn't helped! However I would not swap this feeling for all the money in the world...it all means I'm growing my little (not so little now) pip Very Happy

I had a tough first trimester- I was tired, and sick.. not morning sickness, I had 24 hour a day sickness. I threw up all the time, it was awful. To make it worse, I was bleeding too, bright red, and so the doctors told me I would probably miscarry and that scared me. But about 11 weeks, the sickness and bleeding subsided, and another week or two after that I began to get my energy back, which was fantastic. the 2nd trimester really is the best part--your past the time when your body's owrking overtime to make the baby, and not yet to where its heavy to carry. Now in my 3rd trimester, like Ambe, the tiredness has returned, but not as bad. I have to take a nap sometimes during the day, but I've stayed very active thru pregnancy, and I think that has helped.

I found out at 24 weeks that I'm having a little boy. Hubby and I are very excited, nusery is all set, and we're hoping he comes a little early. Best of luck when you go to see your midwife.

Its funny, at first you want nothing but to start showing, I know i couldn't wait...then in the 3rd trimester, I feel ( and Hubby tells me) I get bigger every day and the back is getting sore and the ankles swell. I just can't wait for the baby now!
