I really commend men for putting themselves out there. You guys get rejected often and sometimes in a horrible manner. You guys should give yourself a pat on the back. Men take a licking and keep on ticking.

I applaud you!

Thanks Verve, that's a great thing to hear.

A lot of women say they want equality, but when it actually comes down to it they only want the benefits of equality and 'couldn't possibly ask out a guy, he might say no!' It's good to know that some ladies out there appreciate what we go through, and others that are fiesty enough to give it a go too!!

remember it's not the situation that's scary, it's just the way you lool at it. You've told all of us you fancy him, so what's the difference in telling him?

enjoy the thrill of the chase!

Well.. there has been definite progression! On Friday, I ended up going to the same pub he goes to after work coz he had been trying to make me go all week. When we first got there he wasn't there and we left but a bit later I lost everyone so walked back up and he was standing outside. We were chatting quite a bit then he walked me back down to try and find my friends and was like oh give me your number and il ring u so u have mine and let me know if you're coming back to the pub and il come and meet you. So we went back there a bit later anyway and we were chatting literally all night, he bought me a few drinks and that and then we left. He was like get in my taxi and i'll drop you off because i don't want u 2 b on your own, bearing in mind in lives in Liverpool and I live on the Wirral which is a good 30 minute drive and it wouldve taken him about ten mins to get home from the city centre, I thought that was quite sweet! so anyway we didn't kiss or anything and then yesterday afternoon I text him and thanked him for getting the taxi with me, offered to give him some more money towards it on monday coz it wouldve cost him like 40 quid and he replied at like 8 last night like a nice chatty ish message sayin he hoped i felt ok and all that (i was pretty drunk the night before) and I replied but didnt hear anything again and havn't had a relpy so definite progression but still confusing :S
