yes we have had a very sexual relationship and we are young. I know he's not using me, because it's not like he only calls me if he wants to f*** or something. Today he even called me to tell me something he thought was funny, then told me he was working late and wasn't going to see anyone (he told me last night that he might see his friends). Doesn't that sound very boyfriendy to you? I can't determine if he just really needs space to do his own thing or what.

So I think i'll try it for a month or so and see what happens. I really don't expect him to meet someone right away but I guess I will also have to keep in mind that I could get hurt again and potentially not be the one for him. But I really feel like he could be the one and I want to do anything to make us work, even if I have to wait for him to mature and see what he has in front of him...

God, sweetie, you're still thinking organically. In that mode you can't distinguish wishes from reality. Can't you understad the idea of drawing line? Call them marks, goals or whatever, but they reduce the equation to a 'yes/no' factor. It gives you direction, instead of the guiddiness you have now.

You've already made up your mind, Rayne08. So there is no point in trying to talk you out of it. Just do what you know you want to do. I hope you don't get hurt too badly.

Well I hope she does get her heart broken... I don't mean it in a bad way, it will be a good thing. It's a part of living.. She has to learn from her mistakes. But in the mean time enjoy the sex. Did you begin your new man hunt yet? Please do...

I hope I don’t get my heart broken, but it is possible. A couple nights ago he went to a party and ended up kissing a random girl, to which later he said that it wasn’t very good (i haven't even got the chance to see any other guys!). Then, last night I saw him and in front of our friends and other people he hugged me, kissed me and gave me a piggy back ride, which he never does. Then we and a bunch of friends went to my house to hang, and he was so sweet the whole time. He stayed the night and in the morning I made him breakfast. I felt pretty crappy when he was leaving and he said “you know I love you”. I started to cry and ask him why he can’t just try to make it work. He said he’s just not ready. I asked him if he wanted to make us work, and he said “there is a small chance we will get back together”. That made me feel horrible to hear that, but maybe he just doesn’t want to get my hopes up, or rush into thinking we will definitely get back together…

We went from dating to serious to him breaking up with me to not wanting to see me anymore to dating me in a year. Maybe he just needs time to figure his stuff out before he has/wants to give all his attention to me again?

my heart is telling me to keep working at this, and my brain is torn...

Oh dear... can you imagine if the girl he kissed had herpes... Your mouth and life would be torn to shreds.. So anyway, how is the sex going for you? How many men have you conversed with at least? Next time your in the supermarket chat up any random guy that's decent. You need to get going.. Keep us informed.

The sex is pretty good, no doubt. I have been talking to other guys, but none of them are what i'm really interested in. Tomorrow I am going to my ex's birthday dinner with his family, so hopefully things go well. Do you think it was a good sign that he invited me to this? Or should I just take it as he was being nice and such? His family all really like me as I do like them, so I know I won't have a problem with it. It'll just be weird because we are broken up and dating now.

Reyne, someday you will read this and say, “what was I thinking?” Please try to have some detachment right now. You are taking the littlest, tiniest seeds and trying to make them into something. It’s not going to work. He’s giving you the word. He’s most kind, in my estimation. But the word, nonetheless. Hon, how old are you? Get out there and make the world your own!
