(July 2) - If Jennifer Aniston's unnamed friends are to be believed, she's very happy to be on the arm of John Mayer. In fact, some pals are worried that she's falling too far too fast.

“It took Jen a long time for her to get over Brad and even a longer time to get out of the habit of just going along with whatever the guy wanted. Now it looks like the ‘clingy Jen’ is back,” said a friend of Aniston’s, according to MSNBC.

They will move in together as soon as he is done with the tour. Will get engaged before the end of the year and get pregnant soon after. Wedding will happen after she is pregnant.

So I see the media is sticking with the "poor Jen" crap no matter what. Could they be less original? I'm glad Jen seems to pay the haters no mind. As loons like to point out so often, if Jen was so clingy then why was she willing to spend so much time away from Pitt, whereas Holie has to pull stunts to keep Brad from "bolting" from her?

Ridiculous. I hate the word 'clingy' used on Jennifer. It's not fair. She's affectionate. She shows her affection by physically touching, stroking, hugging and kissing. Some people prefer to call it 'warm and loving' not 'clingy'.

Being clingy is being dependant on others. She's very supportive of others, which is what she's doing to John now. You have to be strong to be supportive. Others can rely on you if you're supportive. I think Jennifer is very strong emotionally.

I wonder who's the pal MSNBC's talking about. Is she it's own reporter?

It also sounds like the kind of love John was talking about at the end of last year: the "I've got your back" kind of love that he is looking for. He is there for her and she is there for him. What a great way to build a relationship.

None of the stupid nick names seem to have caught on: they keep trying with different names, but people still keep calling them Jen and John: at that is how it should be. They are each their own person, and are part of a couple, but that doesn't take away their individuality.

That is particularly refreshing in light of how their individual characteristics have not been muted by their pairing, but rather enhanced. This is a refreshing change from Jen's marriage to Brad; she admitted herself that she gave over a bit too much of her autonomy and self-image when she was married. Someone a while ago posted about them being like Narcissus and Echo, and I think that it was spot-on. You can see that her self-image is stronger now; she's supportive, but as an equal partner rather than as a follower.

It's just from the camp- Brangelina who try to make AJ and Pittshitt look better by tainting Jen black.
Nobody thinks Jen is clingy after having seen Jolie in Cannes the last two years - and Johniffer is just not a good name for the couple, since thay actually have two different personalities. Brangelina stuck just because Brad was engulfed by Jolie from day one...

I totally agree - I am sooo sick of the media portraying Jen as clingy when she is anything but. She trusts her men - for Christ's sake she trusted Brad and let him go make his movie with Angie!! Angie is the clingy one - she doesn't want Brad out of her sight - how many years have they been together now and how many times has she followed him everywhere??? Jen should be commended for her security and independence instead of being portrayed as clingy - more of the tabs up Angie's insecure ass!!

Jennifer is and always has been a very affectionate person. She is affectionate with her friends and affectionate with her significant others. And that is a great thing: most people love to feel loved and have the person they love show it. John looks pretty damn happy whenever I have seen pics of them together.
