A Fact: among more expensive/dearer
tights - like those for 'cycling, skiing, athletics - male and female
tights are made from shaped panels, and are different for men and women;
However - among the budget
tights they come off the same production lines - all they do is change the tags, so men's
tights are simply labelled as one size larger - the fit comes from using cotton/lycra or pollycotton/lycra blends, not from shaping the individual panels...
A Tip: To get the right fit in what you find in your local shops go one size larger than what you take in your own underwear.
I find that "women's fit" cotton/lycra
tights/leggings in a size Large for me, will stretch sufficiently over their first few wearings and washes, so that they fit as well as the "male-fit" 'cycling
tights I also wear in winter..
