So, i have suggested to my boyfriend that we go somewhere!

But i dont have a clue where...

We live near Sheffield, and so far suggestions have reached Scotland, Irelend, France and Swizerland

I would quite like to go to Paris because of all the "romantic appeal" but i was wondering if anyone else has any suggestions of places that would make my birthday quite special Surprised)

I would suggest Rome. It's a beautiful city full of history and places to see. It's easier to get around than Paris, a little quieter, and the food quite amazing.

Switzerland is beautiful but very expensive. Scotland and Ireland have their places of beauty but you need to be somewhere different, get a little bit of a culture shock to make this special trip more memorable.

You didn't say when you birthday is/was, so sorry if I'm too late.

Both Paris and Rome are lovely. Another option is Verona again, a beautiful city but slightly more off the tourist track than Rome itself. Let us know where you decide upon and have a nice time.
