Usually a business suit either with trousers or skirt and stockings (bare legs if it's really warm or opaque tights on freezzing cold days). Occasionally, a smartish skirt and top or smart trousers and a top. Flatish shoes for comfort as I am on my feet a lot during the day

Usually open neck these days. The women don't wear ties so we don't normally, although I keep a couple of ties in my brief case just in case an important client visits. We rely on keeping clients happy to win more contracts. Hopefully, clients ought to be more interested in quality reports, delivered on time and to budget, rather than outdated dress code requirements.

Why is it that jobs that involve intense brain work traditionally required the employee to wear a neck tie, medically proven to reduce blood supply to the brain and cause early deteriation to the eyesight?

Sounds like a fun job for a fashion-loving "Texas gal!"

So, do you get to wear your famous heels at work?

Well I guess it's good to be famous for something Diane LOL Smile I didn't know I had such a "reputation" on this board. I usually wear my famous heels on Wednesdays to work since I head over to church then. Sometimes I wear heels when I have to go to business meetings at our corporate headquarters as well. Not this wednesday but last wednesday I wore my metal heels to a meeting...then to church Smile Today it's too hot for knee high boots so I am going with a white sleeveless top, denim skirt and my pink cowgirl boots Smile

Don't Mess With Texas

Yes Diane i did do some heel stomping last night in my heels LOL

Normally jeans and a t-shirt or jumper. I work as a roadie so you have to wear practical stuff. I always wear sexy underwear though as you never know who you might bump into.
