body waxing on men

guy wanting to try body waxing for smooth look - any tips for before hand and after care on brazilian, legs, and underarms in particular? I have fair skin and fairly coarse hair, though not too thick.

Just make sure you exfoliate to allow the hairs to grow back through the skin easily so as to avoid ingrown hairs, Dont trim it to low before you go if it is too long the therapist will trim before hand.
Thats about it tbh, oh maybe take a bit of wood to bite down on:P, i personally have been getting brazilian wax'd for about 3yrs now and would say it is actually the LEAST painful area as opposed to the back and chest.
I have found that the best way to have a brazilian done is to have the pubic bone area done with sugaring and the the actual "bat'n'ball" done with a hot wax ( this is applied directly and should not be mistaken for strip waxing which will likely remove most of your skin to as it is very hard to keep the skin of this area tight enough for strips)
Other than that sit back and enjoy, defo worth the pain for the smoothness:)

body waxing on men

hot waxing on the genitals- sounds frightening.

I've been waxing irregularly for a few years, body, underarms and legs. I've now moved to permanent removal for the body, and shaving the legs.

problem was, skin got irritated for two days, then for one week it was smooth and fine, then hairs started coming out hard and thorny for a week at least, which was the hardest, plus another week before you can wax again.

that means, for a max of ten smooth days, you have to be red for two days and thorny for a week, and just hairy for the rest.

Lol, yeah i guess it is a hassle if that is what happens. Like most things though it takes a while to see the benefits. Yes when i first started getting brazilian wax's i was red for a day or so then would be smooth for 2 weeks then the hair starts to come back in. As long as you exfoliate then there should be no issues. I now find that having had it done for a few years i have alot less hair than i did to begin with and the hair that is there is finer and far easier to remove from the folical. So when i get sugared now i have no redness at all nor do i see any hair for 2-3 weeks. It starts to show again on 3 week and i get it redone in the 4th or 5th week dependant on growth. It is something that you really have to do for a while before you begin to see the true effect:)
