Permanent Purple Hair Dye

Does anybody know if it is possible to get a permanent purple hair dye?

I regularly use Stargazer, but et fed up having to re-do it every couple of days and leave a purple trail everywhere I go!

I'd prefer to do it myself, but it may just mean a visit to a salon!

I tried to have t done in a salon, all you can get permanently is a maroon/burgandy color. Not a real deep purple/violet... soo if thats not what you want don't waste your money.. but i agree i want one too so i can start dyign my hair again because i got tired of the purple trail and stopped

Go to manicpanic.com. You can get simi-permanent hair dye that doesn't trail. It lasts me about 2-3 weeks. It fades faster with hair washing so I have gone to washing my hair 2-3 times a week instead of every day. But I myself am still on the prowl for a permanent purple hair dye.

I Got my hair done this awesome colour, its lasted four or five days now, and I had it done in a salon, but I can't find it anywhere or if it even exists! Urban Shock, its been fantastic. (I'm still in the four to five day lee way and going strong...I'm just afraid to have another shower until I find some more XD the stylist suggested I use a comb and when I was my hair just to comb a bit through each time.)

Oh...its purple by the way.
