bf complains when I wear mini skirts

Postby amyhill on Fri Jul 04, 2008 9:28 am

me and my bf have been together for four months now, everything is fine except he is now trying to tell me what I can and cannot wear.

he hates me wearing anything he considers revealing and especially when I wear a mini skirt or short dress as he hates other men looking at my legs.

what is wrong with him I wear what I feel fashionable and comfortable in not to flash my legs and boobs as a come on to other men.

Where whatever you want - if he isn't happy then he can get lost! Besides, it's best to keep your boyfriends a little jealous... it keeps them on edge!

Totally agree with Claire, wear what you want, bet you probably had a short skirt on when you first met him.He should feel proud if you get attention from other men

If you give in on this now, I think you will have lots of difficulties as time goes on. Be your own woman!

I hope you sort this out but at the end of the day if he is the wrong person for you it is better to know now.

thanks for your replies, had a long chat with bf on thursday night and I think we have sorted it out.

As I explained to him I have never given him any reason to think I am being unfaithful to him. I think he is just insecure but that doesnt give him the right to dictate what I wear.

So last night went out with him clubbing and decided to see if what he said he actually meant. I could see he wasnt to happy with what I was wearing when I met him in town but we did have a fab night and didnt argue once. So hopefully we have sorted itxxx

we are finished

Postby amyhill on Sat Aug 02, 2008 11:54 am

hiya

just to let you know I have finished with my bf, last saturday night we went out round the town I thought we had settled our differences on what I wear but obviously not.

I could tell he was in a mood when I met him (obviously didnt like what I was wearing) later that night he caught a couple of men looking at me and omg I thought he was going to hit them.

obviously it was all my fault for daring to wear something that revealed my legs.

so we are finished and I am actually releaved no more worrying about what I wear yipppppeeee xxx

Its a shame things had to end that way, but you'll be better off for it. There are a lot of men that aren't that controlling. Enjoy your freedom, and just live life how you want to. A good one will come along soon enough!

is good to watch other girls to wear mini skirts but do not allow your girlfriend to do the same. typical moron atitude and i am saying this as a man. Good you moved on and wear what like. If my gf wants to wear mini skirts i will buy her more :)

Good riddance to bad rubbish...

Next time round you need to aim for someone who treats you as an equal, and not as a bit of property..

I would never dream of telling my wife what she could wear. I always respect her freedom of expression. Free people are always more attractive than imprisoned people.
She is very respectful of my right to choose what I wear, although she loves to see men in kilts and certainly likes to encourage me to wear one, as long as I am happy to. It was my choice to start wearing kilts.
Best Regards from Colin - Have fun.
