Are we Americans now being ask to accept and give our blessings to known terrorists and the possibility of them sleeping in the Lincoln Bedroom?

Obama's political career started in this man's home. Are Americans not concerned about this?

I'm trying to dig up info on William Ayers because last night was the first time I heard his name, so I don't know anything about him.

He's a man with quiet a radical history. Ayers participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol building in 1971, and The Pentagon in 1972.

His best friend and his girlfriend were both killed by a nail bomb he was assembling when he went 'underground.'

Presently he is a good friend of Barack Obama's. Ayers hosted a party for Obama when he first ran for public office. He's also contributed money to Obama's reelection fund to the Illinois State Senate in 2001. Obama and Ayers are certainly keeping it on the 'down-low' during this presidential elections but the connection should be too close for America's comfort.

In an interview published in 1995, Ayers characterized his political beliefs at that time and in the 1960s and 1970s: "I am a radical, Leftist, small 'c' communist ... Maybe I'm the last communist who is willing to admit it. We have always been small 'c' communists in the sense that we were never in the party and never Stalinists. The ethics of Communism still appeal to me."

The bit I heard on TV last night was about Barack allegedly working out his first political campaign in William's lounge room (or words to that effect) and Barack not knowing about the other dude's bad past. I didn't know what that past was until now. Thanks for clarifying it for me.

I have the naive excuse of not living in the US, but surely someone like that would be notorious enough that a politician would know about him.
I guess it's possible. This is going to be a big blow to his campaign!

When Fred writes about Obama and Communism, he's getting close. We are a few steps away from it if Obama is elected. I'll be okay. I'm established and have what I need. But I don't know about young Americans who are now in schools and what their futures will be like. It looks grim to me and not much to aspire to work for and accomplish with pride.

I used to want to live in a Hippy commune, but within a democratic government for the country. I wouldn't want to live in a communistic country though. There'd be no freedom.

Ouch. Moga, that article gave me goose bumps, the bad kind. And the man brags that he would do it all over again.

I can't understand why this is not a concern to Americans. It seems like 9/11 is more in the past more than the Civil War.

IF he was only 1970's news, why did he throw a party for Obama and fund raiser for his reelection? In his (Ayers) home? NOPE, no 1970' here.

What about the public dining that he's been spotted at since Obama has been in the senate. These events are not in the far past.

As you can see, I make no bones about it, I believe Obama will reek havoc on our country more than GWB ever could have. Maybe with intent.
