Skinny Dipper in Moat

TOKYO, Japan (AP) -- Police have apprehended a Western man who went skinny dipping in a moat ringing the Imperial Palace in a busy Tokyo business district, attracting a huge crowd, officials said Tuesday.

The naked middle-aged man jumped into the moat, then threw rocks and splashed water at two policemen who chased him in a rowing boat, a Tokyo Metropolitan Police official said on condition of anonymity, citing protocol.

The police official did not know the man's name or nationality. Public broadcaster NHK and Kyodo News agency said the man is believed to be a 40-year-old Briton living in Spain who visited the moat with several Spanish friends.

Local TV footage showed the man swimming around the moat as the police chased him with a long stick, attracting a crowd of onlookers. He was in the water for about an

Hey, I'm in that picture! I'm going to file a lawsuit, they didn't have my permission to use this photo. I'm the rather tall fellow in the background, dressed in black, I'm wearing a mask to protect my identity, but I remember that day vividly! That fuckker stole my "pointing device" as ran past me! I want my pointer back damn it!
