This is a good post why is it in stupid posts? i think ww3 as a total war is highly unlikely because western countrys have the real power for total war and they have become too 'diplomatic' due to nuclear technology as we learnt from the cold war. And total wars have typically been over religion and national beleifs. the only strong radical sources of these exsist in the middle east which does not have the finance for world war, cus with a total war were talking air land and sea. his means middle east will never be a threat and the main factor of other 'nations' participating cannot happen due to lack of threat.
