Extreme high heels

Any other girls out there love wearing extremely high heels?
I started wearing heels at 13 except for scool where flats were the order of the day. However, when I reached 6th form heels were permitted and it became a competition to see who wore the highest heels. I was soon in 3" heels for school and bought a pair of 4" for going out. Before long I was wearing the 4" ones to school and found that I could wear them all day without discomfort.
I am now 25 and have a large collection of heels. The lowest I wear are 4" but more usually I'm in 5" heels for work and I have several pairs up to 6" by which time I'm almost standing on tip toes. However, I don't find them uncomfortable for a night out. My latest pair is 6 1/2" which I can wear for an hour or two so far.
I put on my heels as I get out of bed in the morning and take them off as I go to bed at night.

6" HOLY CRAP! curiosity but what size are your feet? Id say my feet rnt much longer than 6" total

I do love heeled shoes though and quite happy in any height, its the comfort of the strip over my toes that determines if the shoe is comfy, not the heel height.

High Heels Cause Infertility?
A leading health expert in the UK has spoken out about the potential detrimental affects of wearing high heeled shoes. This warning comes less than a week before London Fashion Week is set to begin where it is expected all designers will be showing off stiletto heels, making them the “must-have” footwear item of the season. While most people are aware of the dangers high heels may cause to a woman’s posture, health and fitness specialist Dax Moy says that high heels may be dong damage to a woman’s fertility, as well. According to Moy, high heels, particularly those over five inches high, put excess pressure on the front of the foot, which in turn causes the pelvis to lean far forward. This unnatural posture “can slow down the gastric function, lead to menstrual dysfunction and can ultimately impair fertility.” Moy has advised women to avoid wearing heels whenever possible and to take the shoes off frequently when they are worn.

I normally wear 3-4in pointy-toed stilettos for work. I can walk miles in them, stand up for hours, run for buses - you name it, they're like an extension of my feet.

Much above that and I find even a little extra height adds a lot to the discomfort factor. I've worn 6in heels but been in agony after just a few minutes , although I think women who wear trainers to and from work or kick off their heels when they arrive are pretty weak so I didn't admit I was struggling, let alone take them off.

I often wear 6" heels as part of the role playing fantasy which my husband and I use to spice up our love life.
I willingly play the role of his slave (which I am most certainly not) which puts me in 'interesting' situations from time to time.
We have several pairs of 6" heel sandals but these are fetish shoes with an ankle strap which locks and can only be taken off with the use of a key which he holds. On one occassion he left me in them for two weeks so I had to go to work in them and sleep in them (with covers over them to protect the sheets). I soon got used to walking in them and find peoples reactions (especially mens) quite amusing.
He is talking about getting some even higher ones.

Dyana, I'm like you in that the lowest heels I will wear are 4". I wear 5" stilettos to work virtually everyday and 6" stilettos when I go out, just love them to bits!!

My favourite height for prolonged wearing is 5.5", although I can wear 6" all day, I prefer 5.5's as I can run faster in them!

What is your favourite pair of stilettos?

Can't really do properly extreme heels I'm afraid. About 4.5 inches is my limit. I've tried 5.5 inchers but I found them much too uncomfy to walk in for more than a few steps. I could stand in them just about but they felt much less comfy than my more "normal" height heels,I haven't tried again. I don't know how you do it..!

I've just about mastered my 4 inchers for all day at work though I've not been able to manage that for very long. I posted on an earlier thread about making them much more wearable with insoles I cut to shape myself and that's worked a treat. I can cope with walking there and back wearing them too, and its a long way, it takes 30 minutes.

I even wore them to work this morning though I wished I hadn't about 10 minutes into my walk when I had to takle a snowy pavement, I thought the gorgeous sunshine would have melted it all but about a third of the way to work there was still snow on the paths and I sooo nearly slipped over!! LoL I guess (but not if I had slipped and hurt my ankle!)

Anybody else braved wintry pavements while wearing heels?

Wow, they sound amazing, very sexy!! I love stiletto sandals, I'm very nearly always in them in whatever weather! I love how they accentuate your arches, nothing sexier in my opinion!

Its great to hear girls talking about how they love to wear extreme heels.... lately it almost seemed that guys were wearing higher heels than girls!!

I know nothing is better than proudly walking down the street in a pair of 5" stillies but do any of you girls just get a wonderfull feelling from even just slipping on those high strappy stillettoes?

I've just bought my first pair of Jimmy Choos, 4.5" stilletto strappy numbers.. they give me that feeling instantly!!!

Stillettolover, you sound like a girl after my own heart!! Sexy strappy stilettos are my favourite shoes!! I love wearing my 5.5" baby pink sandals, makes me feel so good it's untrue!

I only wear my high heels for sexy flaunting out clubbing.
They help show I have no knickers on if I am wearing a micro mini.
You can see pics on my free group but Yahoo INSISTS you state your age on your profile. I hope to be brave enough to strut onto a dance floor soon wearing just high heeled boots!!!
