As im only 4ft 11ins - ive always worn heels. Couldnt do without them, plus im a girly girl and dont like trainers at all.

I've managed to wear my 6" heels to work every day this week and I plan to have them on again tomorrow. They get easier every day.
I've been trying my 7" ones at home in the evenings but I still can't manage more thn about 20 minutes at the moment. My boyfriend has made me some foot-trainers which are basically a straight board with a bar under the instep which is strapped around the foot and then around the leg keeping the foot stretched in the 'high-heel' position all night. I'm going to try them this weekend.

What type of 7" shoes do you have? The foot trainers might be a good idea but you need to learn how to walk in them. My girlfriend who can wear the 7.5" heels all night was a model and she was taught how to walk in them and she had to do special exercises to learn balance etc. The other thing she is quite tall and so has a large foot size(9.5 size) but all her shoes over the 6" heel are specially made. She has no problem wearing 7" all day and night but heels over 7", she will only wear court shoes, maybe with a peep toe. Suggest you try to master the 6.5" heel first as it is too much of a jump going from 6" straight to 7". You can always try to have a 0.5" under the sole first as this can help with the difference between the top of heel and the underside of the foot.

When I wear them only the tips of my toes are taking the weight. I have ordered a pair of 6.5" open toed and will see haow I get on with those. I've worn heels continuously since my early teens and it is now getting difficult to go barefoot or wear flats (which luckily I don't want to do). I'm quite happy to be a permanent high heels girl!. Wearing shoes of that height can your girl friend still get her heels on the ground?
Since the foot-trainers will keep my feet in the high-heel position during the night I suspect this will help me with very high shoes.

I'm not sure what size UK size 6 translates to in Australia, but in Australia size 6 is about the average foot size, usually girls with a height 5ft 5 or 5ft 6 have size 6 shoes. How tall are you Dyana?
6" heels strappy sandals are always sexy. Do you wear toe rings with them? 1 toe ring with sandals is extremely sexy provided it is not overdone.

Good choice with the 7" heels (I presume you mean 7" heels not size 7?). I have heard though that sometimes it is a good idea to wear a slightly larger size shoe for extreme heels. But I think these are when shoes are taken off the rack and you get your shoes specially made.

Excellent idea. Learn to walk before you run, as the saying goes. Are they court shoe with a peep toe cause they are also sexy, in my opinion.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. It shows that you are a very feminine and elegant style of woman. Unfortunately us men don't see enough of it nowadays. In my opinion there is nothing sexier than seeing a woman wearing a classy elegant/feminine skirt or dress with classic extreme heels. I wish more girls out there would be "happy to be a permanent high heels girl".

My girl also wears very 'comfortable' skirts and dresses with her extreme heels. She never wears pants or jeans or tight fitting straight (you call them pencil) skirts. These skirts help not to restrict her walk. Her walking style from wearing these heels has changed also. But she just loves the attention she gets when in public and at work. I'll explain another time why she wears these heels to work but she even gets compliments from other women who are straight.

That's the secret. You have to be able to do this. I can spend many emails on this. As my girl was a model (she modelled shoes as well cause she has unbelieveable legs and feet), she had to practice special sits, learn how to transfer her weight onto the heel. I'll find out more from her and keep you posted.

She has over 70 pairs of shoes, nothing with heels under 6". These 7.5" heels she has are so high, it is unbelieveable but you seem so determined also to suceed with your 7" ones. You are in your own class as you can see from other womens comments, most can't even wear 5.5" which to you are like wearing flat shoes. Don't forget, 6" heels are more of a bedroom shoe and from what you have said, you can wear these all day and night. The same will happen with the 7" heels, just be patient and practice.

I'm 5'8" so don't need the height really, but I love being 6'2" in my 6" heels.
Yes I do wear a toe ring or two with them sometimes.
The 6.5" ones I have on order have a broad instep strap and a sling back but leave my toes bare.

I like so much the smell of the stockings feet feet once the shoes are taken off.

Any other girls out there love wearing extremely high heels?
I started wearing heels at 13 except for scool where flats were the order of the day. However, when I reached 6th form heels were permitted and it became a competition to see who wore the highest heels. I was soon in 3" heels for school and bought a pair of 4" for going out. Before long I was wearing the 4" ones to school and found that I could wear them all day without discomfort.
I am now 25 and have a large collection of heels. The lowest I wear are 4" but more usually I'm in 5" heels for work and I have several pairs up to 6" by which time I'm almost standing on tip toes. However, I don't find them uncomfortable for a night out. My latest pair is 6 1/2" which I can wear for an hour or two so far.
I put on my heels as I get out of bed in the morning and take them off as I go to bed at night.

My every day shoe has a 4" heel. I have 20-30 pairs of this height, but me highest that I wear going out for an evening has to be 5 1/4". I have went out in 6" heels before but just too hard and does get painful if you have a distance to walk.

hey i hear several people saying they get shoes made for them.
i have always wondered how/where you do this, as i have got small,slim feet and its sometimes hard to get nice high heels to fit?
all u girlies are fabulous,7 inchers,i mean i struggle with 4!
but i am determined to master them some day,by the time im in my twenties, as i dont want to be wearing flats my whole life,well sometimes theyre ok but not when ur out partying or at a formal or something!
