Postby Guest on Sun Apr 11, 2004 5:06 pm

I got a fringe cut in october 2003 and my hair is reasonably straight and quite thick and i had a thin wispy fringe cut in, i just cant get in to go the way i want it. i straightened my hair and it goes flicky after an hour when i go out... how can someone get their fringe that straight and let it stay that way? i dont want to straighten my hair anymore because it damages my hair... how can i maintain one???

Good luck with that! I had one a few years ago (we call them bangs in Canada) and I had to let it grow out because I have cowlicks and wavy hair and it was just not managable. Any bit of damp or humid weather and it was going all wonky. Real pain and very unattractive. I think unless your hair is bone straight to begin with there's really no point in trying a fringe.

indeed i agree, they are very hard to maintain, the slightest gust of wind and it's a mess, if your not happy with what it looks like naturally, then it's probably eaiser to let it grow out a little bit and put it to one side or something. :D
