it's wise not to put too many personal details - including your email, any messenger details and especially photo's of yourself - on ANY internet sites posts or profile.
It's best to chat on the posts and get to know the people you're chatting to a bit more and if you don't feel they are genuine then ignore them!

If you do happen to trust someone enough to give them your details in a pm and then they turn out to be men or someone you don't trust then you can report them and block any furthur pm's or emails from them.

Just be careful hun.

UGH that is sooooooo annoying. Not only that 'blokes' lurk on a 'ladies' board...but that they pester you through email.

I agree with the pp, be very careful (it sounds like you have already deleted relevant email...but for anyone else reading). Be careful about using your proper name, email addy and pictures...it's just dangerous on this kind of OPEN forum situation. Get to know people...and when comfortable, THEN share info.
