Once again I reiterate that there is only ONE ‘Annie Jakes’ and I really do not know what you are referring to………..

As to who I really am, I have been a student of Ancient History long before the computer was in common use, I have spent many years in reading text..

You are correct in your assumption that there is a theory that the Ancient Egyptians’ word for star may also be interpreted as a stargate. Thus they perceived the stars as an opening but to what? The Bible speaks of Angels, do we interpret these as extraterrestrials? We are all familiar with God as being in the Heavens…in the Sky and there is also a reference in the Book of Revelations that some believe refer to a space ship of some kind..

It is also a great mystery as to how the Ancient Egyptians managed the awesome feat of lifting no fewer than 2,52 million blocks of stone each weighing approximately 2.5 tons to make up just the core of the Great Pyramid! Then there are the great Obelisks weighing upwards of 2,000 tons little wonder that there is the theory of ‘aid from extraterrestials’

The Sacred Ankh, the Symbol of Life, believed by some to represent the image of the elongated head of an extraterrestial with the arms and body. The fact that an analogue computer was found in a Greek Ship that was sunk in 65BC, the model glider found at Sakkara dating before the days of Christ. Also at Sakkara the 30,000 stone vases so beautifully constructed with apertures at the neck so small that a child’s finger could not enter and yet x-rays show that the interiors had a perfect finish and hollow interiors. We have indeed lost technologies. Hopefully, they will, eventually, return….

As a student of astronomy and the positioning of the stars we are advised to look to the stars for the answer to the future. Do they predict the ‘end of times’? Here in Cornwall we were privileged to view the total eclipse on 11.8.1999 interestingly on 29th June of the same year Orion stood at his zenith flanked by the seven planets of the Ancients, which in Revelations are called the lamps or candles. As Orion rose it appeared to stand on the Mount of Olives, the symbol of Alpha and Omega, ‘ The ultimate sign of the end of an age’ and the heralding of the Age of Aquarius.

As much as I have enjoyed reading the thread this is now the final entry……..

A wise friend once said that the bible is just a means of helping us do a good deed (fear to keep us in line)

See what you mean but i think that ww2 was different because the Nazis wanted to destroy all the jews at that time.
Now, we have evangilical Christians in the White House wanting to get all the jews back in their home lands in Irael. People will fight to the death for there beliefs, and they believe in the bible so much they will do anything! Life is short, but we dont want to make it shorter!

Dont believe in the bible and I know its really just about making people fear to keep them in check.

I think when I was young I would think of this much more than I ever do now. But that is the difference in age and acceptance.

I recall when I was a child and hiding under my chair during World War II. Afraid of the atomic bomb. So afraid after reading and hearing the paper boy shout out the extra for the paper. PEARL HARBOR ATTACKED. That fear truly never left me. My next big fear was afraid of my beloved bent sent to Lebanon. Then one of the worse fears during the Cuba crisis. Two babies. One 2 and one 5 months. A husband who worked in a capacity he could not get home to me to help me. His was a job that was necessary he be there. I knew this. The fear of this time was horrible. I stored bottles of water and food. Then I realized how foolish this was. How could I carry my two babies and where would I go to.

Life goes on. Now I see fear as acceptance. Life has changed. People have changed. I think back and despite my age of near 70 (I truly cannot believe this) and my husband at near 71, I would not want to do it all over again. Our children are grown and happy. This world is a mess. Corruption all over.

So we live and love and just let the rest of the world go by. And probably in 100 years people will be saying the same things.

Shite happens. You cannot have globalisation but weed out the bits that you don't want. Anyway, the bus to work bomb, whilst it was terrible, to put it into context, there are the same or more people dying daily in Iraq, Africa and probably a whole load of other places. And has it made people live in fear - no way. Life just ticks along and people get on with it.

You are so right. But what do people do. Stop having children. Stop loving each other. I will so agree that this world is so messed up. Twenty years ago I visited the Hoover Dam. Beautiful. Water gorgeous. at the highest level. Now it is so low it is sick. Sat there an hour while my husband was taken to the bottom on a private tour. Peaceful. I could see the fish. We visited this again last year. I was sick. I could not believe what I saw. The water was way down. Yet when we went through areas in Colorado they were watering dead hay. Everyone grabbing their bit. Las Vegas a big water fountain where they say it is being reused all the time. A big lie. It was 106 when we were there. We came out of the Bellagio to go to town as we stayed there. It was raining. It was so hot that the water did not get us wet. It evaporated before it hit the ground. THere were no traces of water. And they tell me that the water is being reused.

So we all live and love and hope for tomorrow. So they say that after this the next war will be fought with sticks and stones. Who knows.

u know whats really bothersome about the openin statement on this post is that ..the part in the article that pionts out how america is in a "apocolyptic state".....if this is true than George bush isnt against terrorism he is for it ....Muslim extremeist...Dont live for the now they are always ever living for the afterlife ...that is why they kill themselves and decide to live in matyrdom...^ of those above statments are true ..than americans should be just as concerend about about genocide on their home land as they are about a middleeastern threat on the home land...this is indeed proof that we're all in the same boat ..and that Our beliefs is whats going to drive us to extinction ...

Which is sad because we have the brains and the knowledge and the capability to change but we dont for some reason or another ....Its like u had the dinosaurs whos most of theirs brains were no bigger than and apple in alot of cases but they managed to maintain balance for 65million years ..and human civiliazation has been around for a smidgent of that
and we cant keep it together ? un believable
They say theirs no hope for the youth
and the truth is their aint no hope for
the future
