Bitches at work

Postby ladylumps on Mon Oct 02, 2006 10:55 pm

How do you deal with them?

She constantly talks down to me as if she is better than me even though I do more in my role and have more experience (even though I am much younger). Its as if she looks down on me but has no reason to because she doesn't do much, she is quite incompetent and has no clue about customer service.

She is generally the butt of most jokes but no one will say anything to her face because she is quite aggressive in her behaviour. I have reported her behaviour to my manager but nothing has been done so I feel I have wasted my time and she really has her feet under the table despite being disliked by most and not very good at her job. That place would vastly improve if she wasn't there, she can't cope and causes friction between people and there is always a bad atmosphere when she is around, she is a bitch really.

The things I've been told about what she has said about me is unbelievable, she has even put blame on me when I was on leave and somehow implied to a customer that I was to blame, who then in turn complained about me.

My manager basically laughed it off and said she is just feeling threatened by me (??) and put it down to a personality clash, it is more than that - it is bullying. Constant nitpicking and bitching day in day out.

She also watches my every move and if I dare to leave my desk she is shouting to everyone asking where I am and I should tell her when I am going somewhere - she has no authority over me whatsoever so I can't understand it. I tried answering back to her but she really is intimidating and somehow made me feel guilty for standing up for myself.

If your manager doesn't do anything about it, take it over their heads to their manager - it's your right.

Been there and done that, i took it for a year and then stood up in the office and blew a stack, i ranted for half and hour and then was sent home lol. I left after but it felt good, i told her things that nobody ever dared, after that she was quiet at work and nobody took any stick from her ever again. :)

Give out your work number and get your friends and family to ring up and complain about her.

They could say they saw her lift money from the till. Or they saw her try and break into the charity box on the counter. Perhaps they saw her spit in someone's drink? They could also complain about her being rude and using abusive racist language?

ignore her and do an even better job - that will infuriate her and make her make mistakes...

her time will come. just be sweet and as nice as pie - she will not cope and end up making a fool of herself.

trust me - this will work...
