It is all just a matter of personal choice. I tried a smoothie, but looked about 9 years old again, so now I compromise with a good shave/trim. Like someone previously I am mostly smooth underneath and keep a trimmed patch just above.

I have got the hairiest fanny that anyone has ever seen, I cant be bothered to shave it, so long as all the hairs stay inside my knickers who gives a toss!!

I trim. I dont like looking like a child again! I shaved when I was 15-17 because I thought it was what men liked. Now I think if my guy don't like it tough, because I do! My man does like it trimmed anyway :D

Good for you! My only disagreement would be that hairs extending beyond the cover of knickers look extremely sexy!

As far as I'm concerned, you can't beat a woman that's relaxed and confident in herself, the way she is. It's the ones that consider their natural state to be "gross" or "dirty" that I'd say have 'issues'. It's sad to see girls as young as 11 already being conditioned into this. I wonder what their parents think, if they know? However much people claim otherwise, the fact remains that it's a fashion of our times. Hardly anyone thought it was worth shaving pubes until well into the 1980s. Even around 1990, an 11 year old girl doing it would have been considered extremely odd.

Another sad thing - particularly in view of the children involved - is that it's a fashion that came out of the porn industry. The rationale was that guys would prefer porn in which the opening of the vagina could always be clearly seen. Maybe that's something that women who to any degree identify with feminism should consider, next time they shave to make themselves "clean".

I either shave it all smooth or leave a little thin strip. A bit of variety can be quite nice, although my husband prefers it when I'm completely bare.

i get electrolysis on my bikini line and trim the rest. the electrolysis is expensive, but @least it's permanent. i'll never wax again! i have done it regularly in the past but it's torture.

by the way.... i have to reiterate that having some hair down there protects against infection. if you don't feel comfortable with the idea... don't do it!

i shave my legs... i shave my pits... i wear make-up... i blow-dry my hair. i use a cleanser, toner and a moisturizer... i curl my eyelashes. i friggin' give myself manicures and pedicures. why should i have to shave ALL my hair off too? there are so many cons to doing that. as long as it looks neat, who cares? if any guy i date has a problem with that... well, he's shallow and not worth my time.

In any Inprovement project, the word shave comes into play. When you build a hot rod, and lower the roof, you shave the pillars. You shave the fenders and quarter panels for a CLEAN look. When you need to adjust the fit of a door in the jamb, you shave a bit off. So it is perfectly reasonable to me for a woman to shave in an effort to improve herself and her image. You don't look at the incomplete rod and say how hot it is...that door not fitting right isn't going to get praises either. So some people find pubic hair dirty and unclean. They shave to get that door fitting just right, and to put that polish coat on the slick hot rod.
Chikan, bukakke, paipan,....more badness to come!

It simply comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I prefer completely shaved or a small landing strip on my women. As for myself, I prefer to be completely shaved.

Just like someone mentioned before, men shave their faces because of their personal preference. Saying that a woman should not shave because it is the "natural" thing to due, then why do they shave their legs, under arms and arms? Some will say because society dictates this, but the truth is, because they like how it looks. How many women would wear a bikini with hairy legs, arms and pits? While there are some who say they would, the majority would say NO WAY and why? Because they think it looks better when they shave.

Why do men shave their faces? Because some don't like the look of having facial hair. Again, if it was the "natural" thing to do, men ALL men would have full facial hair all the time.

Simply put, it all comes down to personal preference. Myself, I like the look and feel of a smooth clean shaven body, so that is why I take the time to shave everything; not because someone else said I should, but because I want to.

Women, if you want to shave, then shave; men if you want to shave, then shave. If you have never shaved and always wondered what it would be like to, give it a try. Remember, it is only hair and it will grow back!

girls who don't shave smell
sweat builds up in hair and thats disgusting..would you let your underarm hair grow? no...cos that would stink.
i shave everything off twice a week and my boyf loves it
all the men i have been with have loved it.
errr can you see your hairs stockings out of your underwear if you don't shave for weeks??
women who don't shave i'll ask you this question........would you lick hairy balls?? NO! you wouldn't hehe

females shaving private areas

one of the points everyone is missing is that the private area ends up looking like it belongs to a child. How repulsive. Besides if the lady hasn't shaved in a few days or longer you end up facing a formable porcupine.

It's a matter of personal choice! But as for being like a child, kids do not have underarm hair or leg hair either, so you think we should let all that grow as well then? Regular shaving prevents the "porcupine" look. And most blokes shave their faces, do they then look like boys?

The only hair on my body is on my head :D This is more hygienic and not done for anyone else but done for me!

men shaving it too

Postby anton on Thu Feb 21, 2008 5:51 pm

hi everyone I must admit I like the pubic area to be at least nicely trimed but recently a girlfrind of mine asked me if I thought blokes liked it shaved off and must admit that this would certainly feel better whendoing oral which l love to provide. So she did and says that her new bloke was very responsive. Just wondering what girls think when it comes to doing the same with us guys would you prefer us shaved as well?

I think it looks odd on a bloke if the body hair suddenly stops, I prefer to see a bloke neatly trimmed. Now, wear did I put the scissors? Get them down, it won't take long :)

I am a 16-year old boy who does let pubic hair natural. It's a personal choice whether to shave pubic hair or not. I prefer unshaved girls, but I don't reject trimmed or clean-shaven girls either. I remember when I did it first time with a girl... it happened she was unshaved...we were both unshaved...it was a pleasure.
