hiya im 13 and loads of my mates have had their belly buttons done or are going to . my mum said that she would think about it . Hi i'm 26 now and had my bellie button pieced when i was 18. It did look wonderful but a word of caution, when i got pregnant even though i took it out it has still scarred and now has a kinda pinched look around the scar area. I probably think its worse than it is but i am seriously thinking of buying a one piece swimming costume this year. I grew enormous during pregnancy though and lost the weight very quickly after so maybe my experience isn't the norm. Just thought i'd warn anyone who was thinking about having it done though. Lots of my other friends took theirs out and only had a little scar so its up to you if you want to take the chance.

I've had my belly button ring for about 3 years and I want to take it out. Will the hole grow back or am i going to have a hole in my stomach forthe rest of my life? Is there anything i can do to help it regrow or make it better? please let me know. Thanks.

I am debating whether or not to have my belly button done. I want it but i dont know how much it will hurt. Im almost 18 so i dont think it would grow out. Can anyone give me an idea of whether it hurts alot?

In reply to anna-me and my mum are really close but I asked her if I could get another piercing not thinking she would let me and she said depends where and then agreed. There is no harm in asking especially if your close.

Firstly its not the piercing part that hurts, its the healing process because you end up catching it on your clothes, but if you're careful its fine! Also, don't have it pierced because your friends are, have it done because YOU want it. If you know your skin doesn't heal well and reacts badly to piercings don't have it done because your body will reject it.

and i am 14 and going to be 15 and i really want to get my belly button periced for my birthday coming up. My mom is one of those ppl who don't like perceings except the ones in ur ear she thinks that u shouldn't put holes were they don't belong but anyways i have wanted this for awhile and my best friends has had it done for two years nowshe got it when she was twelve and it still looks good on her and nothing bad has happened becuz she takes good care of it! and when i asked my mom if i could get it done for my birthday if that was the only thing that i asked for...and she said no at first but after begging her she said that i had to give her a good reason on why i want it and i had to go _ and get the goods and bads on it and so far i have got alot of good ones which i am happy about but i need some advice! plz could u help me!!
