What fantasy world do you live in?
JFK was anything but a devout Catholic.
Joe Kennedy, JFK's father, made the Kennedy fortune by bootlegging alcohol -- no big deal.
But Joe Kennedy always wanted to be Ambassador to Great Britain -- he got off on the thought that the Brits had to be polite to an Irish Catholic -- so he "bought" himself the Ambassadorship.
Then Joe Kennedy bought his son JFK the 1960 Presidential election, which JFK barely won by taking Texas and Illinois. The margin of victory was the votes of thousands of dead Texans and thousands of dead citizens of Chicago who were "raised from the dead" on Election Day by the Democratic political machines that ran Texas and the city of Chicago.
Last but not least, JFK was a brazen serial adulterer before and during his Presiidency.
Notwithstanding his nominal Catholicism, JFK was not opposed to "all forms of vice and extortion"; JFK personified vice and extortion.
