BTW, to an earlier comment made that I don't try and find balanced articles, it is true that I am more attracted to ones that reflect my own views. However, if I didn't do that then how would I end up with such wonderful debates and discussions with people?

This particular article I came across, rather than went hunting for. I was actually on scoop trying to find out if anything had been written about a tragic accident that had occurred that day in NZ.

It's very hard not to notice. It's negative propaganda because there is no attempt to be fair or balanced or offer workable thought out solutions that can fit with other working solutions and reality.

MBA - am I correct to assume that stands for a Masters of Business Administration? So do you work as an executive or did you go in a more academic direction with your post-grad degree?

One thing for certain is the negative propaganda runs in so many directions from so many sources that the 'real' picture may never be known, that is if there is such a thing as the 'real' picture.

Ok - I should add also that I thank those that gave an in-depth analysis of the paper and their opinion on it and you raised good points and gave me a fuller understanding of the situation in doing so. I didn't put in a personal opinion on the article because I don't have existing in-depth knowledge to do so - my field of expertise lies elsewhere, but I am always interested to learn from people in other disciplines. I'm actually learning a hell of a lot about many things as a result of the articles I have posted here Let's try and keep our discussions lively but refrain from personal slurs eh? That only ever devolves into a bad space.

So, the guys that put it together are saying that all 79 recommendations should be taken as a package and not treated as a 'fruit salad' (pick and chose between those you do and do not like). I understand two further reports are due in a matter of days as well.

Anyone got any predictions about what may come out of this?
