First bikini line wax

Postby Guest on Mon May 17, 2004 7:59 pm

Hi, thinkin of getting my bikini line waxad at local salon. I shave my bikini line at the moment with a razor but its stubbly by the next day, so do I need to grow my pubes abit first (how long?) and should I wear normal undies or bikini bottoms.
I've also considered having my legs and armpits waxed - whats the most painful??
I've never liked pain that much!!! :? :? :? :?

It's all painful but I find the legs the worst. I do my own waxing. I've never gone to a salon because I just can't picture myself spread eagled with some woman ripping strips off my pud. Not for me! I do a brazillian wax down there and I sometimes wax my pits but I always shave my legs. Too much of a hassle to wax them. You have to have the hair about 1/4 inch long and I really don't like to get that hairy in the pit and leg area, especially in the summer.

Legs aren't actually too bad once you get used to it. It's around the bikini I have problems with (it tickles and I giggle! ) but ask if your beautician can use talc. Mine does, whereever (legs or bikini or occasionally arms) and it reduces the stick to the skin while leaving the hairs to be pulled out. Far less painful. :)

i dont wax, it really pulls the skin. i find it much more comfortable to use an epilator. ive only used it a few times on my legs and under my arms but i cant even feel it anymore. the first time is always the worst because the roots are so thick. the bikini line still hurts a bit though, dont think there is a pain free method for that. sorry. :(
