Excerpts From the New Testament -- the Christian Bible -- that you ignored

"Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12 (New King James Version)

"You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 19:19 (New King James Version)

"For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' 'You shall not covet,' and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Romans 13:9 (New King James Version)

" . . . bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back." Luke 6:28-30 (New King James Version)

"But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also." Matthew 5:39 (New King James Version)

The difference between "the way it should be" and "the truth" is due to human fallibility.

A righteous law or rule is not rendered wrongful just because it is violated.

The commandment proscribing murder remains righteous even though humans violate it by murdering.

The commandment proscribing stealing is righteous even though humans violate it by stealing.

He was the most important single man in the history of the world, without question. However, He personally didn't do great things; His followers certainly did.

I think its side splitting that you people believe a book!

Perhaps if I gave you Harry Potter you'd believe him to be the son of god too?

You people really have to wake up to reality!
