Who uses talc.... and what for? :)

Postby bicurious_midlands on Fri Jun 01, 2007 10:08 am

Hia folks

I sell Avon, and they have stopped selling talcum powder!!! A few people have told me that talc is "out of fashion" and that no-one uses it anymore!

I love talc.... it helps to dry me after a shower/bath or swimming. I sprinkle some on lightly under my arms so that I can put deodorant onto dry skin.

I cannot imagine anyone not using talcum powder.... what are your views?

I use talc for the following reasons:
1. It stops my legs rubbing together in the summer.

2.. I have a bit hang over of skin on my stomach and I put loads on it as it hangs over and stops it rubbing.

3. I put in under my big titties otherwise they rub on my stomach.

4. I also use it in my shoes to stop my feet from sweating

5. I also use it on my very long hair so I dont have to wash it as often.

sugarcoating - you sound like a bit of a beast! unless it's a joke post?

The only thing I ever use talc for is to put inside my fake tan (latex) gloves before using them as it makes them easier to get my hands into. As far as I'm aware talc is viewed as something that old ladies use to dry themselves after bathing so maybe that's why it's not really viewed as fashionable any more. Other than that I remember using it a couple of times at school when I had athlete's foot I think?

No not a beast just obese!!

It helps prevent all my fat (skin) from rubbing on each other and chaffing.

I normally have a powder puff and talc in my bag all the time it does help, it its rubbing I run in the ladies toilets whip my knickers down and powder away under my overhang of obese belly, if I dont do it it smells really bad and I sweat a lot too.

My overhang is really bad and my naval sweats aswell so I put talc in there aswell.

Ever got up in the morning and your hair is greasy even though when you went to bed it wasnt? Annoying isn't it!

Well this is where talc comes in handy for me! I put some on my hands, rub together, run through my hair and then comb through! Do again if necessary. Hey presto grease free hair! x

It has been known in my youth. Only very rarely these days though.
