Vista Question

Postby Dating Desert » Mon Jun 11, 2007 12:46 pm

I have Windows Vista in a new computer. It came with Nortons. After the trial period of Nortons runs out, can I uninstall it and put in what I prefer (PC Cillin)?

Thanks.

No problem at all, just remove it via add/remove programs in the control panel. You don't have to wait for the trial to run out if you don't want to...

Monosodium: Thanks. I had a feeling it was the case. Will be putting in PC Cillin then.

Consider downloading a trial of a good uninstaller, to clean-out most of the crap uninstalling leaves all over the HD...

Seriously ignore the thing about the installer - Cosmic is always recommending that people install complete garbage like that which have a tendency to screw your system over in the long term.

AVG is ok, it's free and so you get what you pay for in that respect.
