Funny that, coming from the same person who posted the following on the same page:

I don't care what you think.

Do more than post idiotic one liners and I might raise the bar a little. ;)

I posted the following, which you elected to ignore:

. wrote:I think the story is partly or totally bullshit. But if any of it is true, the reason they made fun of him is they don't respect him, probably because he is a malingerer or gay. The disrespect came first, then the racial taunts. If he were tall or short or thin or fat and earned the disrespect, they would taunt him for being tall or short or thin or fat. I can't believe the British Army is that openly racist. The U.S. Army is probably the most meritocratic, egalitarian government institution, unless you are gay. But the rules are known up front about gays in the military. Compare how the U.S. Army treated a Jamaican soldier: they promoted him to General, then to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (the highest uniformed post in the country) and then he was appointed Secretary of State of the United States. I'm talking about Colin Powell.

Your forte is lowering the bar, not raising it.

It's almost completely irrelevant to the actual news article printed. You post one opinion which is unsubstantiated and doesn't seem especially well thought out. Then you post about ten lines of entirely irrelevant material, which you seem to think is clever stuff just cos it's yours. Saying absolutely nothing about it was the most polite thing to do.

I just read the article. I never realized racial discrimination is OKAY when you dismiss it with tradition and customs.

"Oh there's nothing wrong hunting N*****! We ALWAYS hunt for them on tuesdays!!!"

I find the following bit interesting:

We investigate all substantive allegations of racism and would encourage anyone who has experience inappropriate behaviour to come forward.

I'm trying to recouncil the vast difference in what the british MP is being accused of and what this particular spokesman is suggesting. It doesn't match up.

What does "almost completely irrelevant" mean other than you disagree and cannot muster a coherent reply. Kindly favour me with reference to anything insightful you posted in this thread.

It means a) the conclusions you draw do not follow logically from your premises
b) the premises themselves have no logical connection to the article posted
c) you do not establish yourself as any kind of authority to be making such claims.

Why don't you sign in with your username? I come back here thinking an interesting guest might have commented, but it's just you each time.

Hmm... I'm moving this thread to the members' section, to prevent further vacuous guest posts.

While possible, having never served in the UK military I have little frame of reference, nevertheless I find it very hard to reconcile a shocking story like this with no other collaboration, taken from a the Sunday Mirror next to "Harry is a BAD Boy" and "It's Prince THRILLS" as articles of equal interest to their readers.

If it looks like nonsense, smells like nonsense and there's nothing else to compel a second look, then I suggest it is nonsense.
