Ok... I have question. If you can answer this, it proves you are a mechanic ;) hahaha

How much does a new break-disc and break pads for a Audi A6 2.3 Avant '04 cost, and how much do they actually cost :?
And how many coffee-breaks do you have on a "busy"-day ??? ;)

Stumbled across this page and have been quite amused. Kudos to those ladies that are serious and unfortunately, you have to deal with the male "idiot" mentality that women can't work on cars. I've worked on cars for over 20+ years, have my associates degree in automotive technology and have taught automotive classes and given lectures at the state university here in Colorado, USA. I was working on cars when it wasn't so cool to work on cars and the majority of the public had never seen a real life mechanic (we prefer the term technicians considering the technology involved in engines and drivetrains now) Hang in there ladies and if you are serious, it can truly make a difference in your life!

What it does prove is that hushbunny doesn't know what BRAKE discs and BRAKE pads are.

Do You??

Reminds me of the question the prosecuting attorney in the movie My Cousin Vinnie posed to the character played by Marisa Tomei. Her answer was priceless.
