Is this the salon of Simon Forbes? I have read about him and his developments within hair.

I read how he was ridiculed in the eighties when he came up with hair extensions and he was thought to be a maverick. How interesting if this Antenna is his.

Yes it is. He is still around, but has been producing T.V. programmes recently.

I worked with him last year on a series with Lee Stafford. He never mentioned to me about what he done all those years ago.Shame ,because
I'd love to have known what he must have gone through in those early days.

He's a very quiet and private person, but totally motivated when he is working.

I met Simon Forbes ten years ago. What a sweety!!

When I asked him what should I do about my hair....he laughed.
Don't blame him in hindsight,I suppose everyone asks him that rather boring question!!

He's a very powerful man and very charismatic, and very modest too.

I,too am not a PR for Antenna, neither have I met Simon Forbes, but I have met and had my hair done by Julian, what a treat.

There is nothing nicer to walk into a salon and feel frumpy and jaded and walk out feeling just fantastic.

Having read some of these rather snidey comments from,I presume ,other hairdressers,I am somewhat disappointed in them, that they do not repect their mentors.

He has changed my life,I wear extensions, they are short, but as he tells me they have transformed my look, and I agree wholeheartedly, they have. They are a sinch to look after,no more bad hair days and I enjoy going back to Antenna, just for the buzz,(and coming out looking ten years younger!).

I also enjoy talking to other clients there, who have gone through similar experiences to myself and we all feel enlightened.

Next time I go,I will surely talk to Julian about Simon Forbes.Watch this space.....

I was having Monofibre Extensions the other day and guess what,Simon Forbes came in. Nacho my stylist pointed him out to me and then introduced me.Charming man,as is dear Nacho.

I forgot to thank him for changing and transforming my life....I have very, very, very fine hair and the extensions have changed everything for me. I have so much more confidence about my looks and I don't feel everyone is looking at my scalp!!In fact they can't see it now.

In hindsight....thank you!!!

I came across this site whilst trying to find a more local salon to one im currently using and with that hopefully slighty cheaper, as it did occur to me that part of the expence may be down to location.....
However this search has not been easy and i'm finding it difficult to find people who campare. I think in this day and age you should have a decent website as to me if you site is rubbish it gives me the impression that you will be to (just in case their are salon people on here!)

I read afew pages ago a name and shame on my current salon and even though as above i admit to looking for more local salon i felt compelled to let you all know that my current salon IS fantastic! I am due to go back to Mark Glenn in Mayfair for the third time and in my experience the hair DOSEN'T MATT! My hair is in lovely condition after three months of wear. It cost £450 for long perfectly blended extensions. My only problem is not spending the money i save for them! I went to them originally as i was stupid and had used clip in hair continuously for many months leaving me with bald patches that make you cry and weak hair so i was willing to have the best money could buy and i still feel i made the right choice it's just i cant afford to pay that much forever.

Sorry to go on just feel very strong about this as read so much rubbish on here!

Oh suzie get a life! Its for people like you that I wrote my experience.. yet another lying "extensionists" wanting to bad mouth reputable salons for their own benefit are you?? Your a joke. I would happily send you copy of my receipt and provide any other confirmation of my visit if it shut you big gob up. This site isn't for public wanting true advice its for so called professionals trying to make a few quid. I'll take my chances with my own homework thank you

It cost me about £400. I had them taken out after 4 months and then had immediately another lot put in.

It may be expensive but for me it's totally worth it. It has changed how I feel every morning......(and evening!!!!!)

Suddenly,I have a head of sexy hair....what's the price???

thanks for the reply, that doesn't sound to bad, some places charge £1,000 and thats for glue!

do you have any shedding? i wouldn't want to have a load of hair falling out everywhere!

have you got any photos?

what's it like having them put in? i hate going to the hairdressers and making conversation lol !

Just want to say I had extensions done at an extension studio in Teddington. It cost me £350.00,I've had them in nearly 4 months.I presume shedding means moulting, well that hasn't happened to mine. They used no glue, but they haven't fallen out. Great place to go.
