it definately varies from time to time...i've heard about the diet thing having an effect on the taste, however i never pay attention to what my boyfriend eats-there are times when it tastes like nothing and there are times when it is bitter. Varies from each guy and by diet, but not by all that much from what I recall. Generally salty and bit "bleachy."
