Cutting Edge: Baby Bible Bashers

Cutting Edge is returning to c4 with some really interesting documentries.

Bby Bible Bashers caught my eye as kids in America as young as 7 are going out preaching in churches and on streets..it looks at if the kids are really enjoying this or if it is a mater of meeting the parents needs.
There is some good information and a clip here http://primetime.unrealitytv.co.uk/watch-the-baby-bible-bashers-as-cutting-edge-returns/

It's wrong to urge any kind of belief system on young impressionable children but this doens't stop people doing it, especially in a religious context.

I can't believe the selfish father would brainwash his son like this. He's only a child. He should be playing not preaching

These children should be taken from their parents and given a better life, Samuel was clearly upset in New York and the mother is the 'evil' one hitting him. The young girl who adores her father needs to be taken from him, it's definately an unhealthy relationship. As for the little black boy, his grandmother and father are just running a business, easy cash!! It's disgusting that this is allowed to go on and the courts should take a serious look at families that do this to their children and put those children into a better environment for their own health and safety.

Samuel's tears in New York say it all; he is a confused little boy afraid to defy his parent's beliefs; he is not allowed an opinion - even when sat in their camper van "home" trying to express an opinion on his home schooling with his own Mother; to be physically abused for expressing an opinion is so very upsetting.
I shed a tear when watching this dear little fellow trying to piece together his existence in the place we are all expected to believe is "The Land Of The Free".
So much for 'Uncle Sam', bring back Kim Wilde to sing about the "Kids In America" of today.
A sad programme to watch, but the content of which I hope many of its viewers express their distaste about.

I watched this programme last night and was horrified! I am a Christian but am appalled that this child abuse {for that is what it is} is allowed to continue.

my heart melted when i saw little samuel in tears. this gentle, innocent little person confused by the reaction of adults who should know better than to heckle a child! if they don't belive walk away! i cried along in empathy. question is, why would a parent who loved their child offer him to go through this for the saving of souls of those he never met? this little boy has an obvious compassion for lost souls and willingly faces the hatered of those strangers. then again why would a loving father offer his son to be cruelly whipped, beaten, spat upon and be crucified! For exactly the same reason!Out of compassion to save people from an eternal hell. Jesus took all the abuse ppl hurled at HIM willingly too!I pray God richly blesses this little boy, fills him with boldness to carry on and the pure joy the holy spirit brings. I will pray for him.

If these children have really been called by God to preach the word of God then man's opinion will amount to nothing. Let us not forget that by the age of 12 Jesus had began to confound the Pharisees with his teaching in the synagogues. The children only need direction and prayers for if God ha called them, nobody can stop them.
