More to the point, why would someone who didn't believe in it want to be associated with the hateful, bigoted religious on their wedding day?
I am an atheist, as is my wife, and we married in a registry office DESPITE the fact my parents (as Catholics) demanded we marry in a Catholic church.
My children have been raised as atheists too. That is all the matters. A free mind and a free life.
Then why not go home and in front of your wife and sons TEAR UP your marriage license and chuck your wedding ring down the loo?

That comment makes no sense Fred.
My marriage is a CIVIL one.
Civil or not... Marriage today is considered RELIGIOUS in nature.
