Okay, I’m male, but as you can probably tell from my pic at left, I do tend to favour a rather androgynous/feminine look, although I tend not to dress totally "in drag" much of the time, at least as far as day-to-day wear goes, going instead more for a kind of gender-blended look, generally. That's just the way I feel most comfortable.
Well, the other day my BF finally proposed (yay!), and I accepted (AND he gave me a gorgeous diamond! Yay, again). We’ve set a tentative wedding date of September 6, so I have some time to plan, but here’s my quandary: what to wear? My first impulse was to go the traditional bride route, which certainly has its appeal (dream wedding!), but on the other hand, that’s not exactly “me”, at least generally. Of course dressing “male” is totally out, but going for an androgynous kind of look doesn’t exactly seem right either, this time. It seems that I ought to be trying to be as beautiful as possible (as tall an order as THAT’LL be!
I haven’t yet talked this over with my fiancé, although I strongly suspect he’d like to see me in a wedding dress. And I wonder what our guests would expect. We haven’t yet decided who I want to be in our wedding party, so I also haven’t discussed this with any of my friends.
Hell, I don’t even know if I’m making too big a deal about this! Augh... Help!
