First Pregnancy test.... help!

I'm only 17 and this is the first pregnancy test i have bought, so i'm pretty edgy about how it all works.

Now here's the story before i jump the gun.

About 1 week ago i took the morning after pill as the condom split the night before, i took a pregnancy test at the clinic cause i was 4 days late of my due period, but i'm irregular all the time but the doctor wanted to make sure, that test came out negative. Anyways about 2 days later after taking the MA pill i came on my period. It was ALOT lighter than ever and i read the info in the Morning after pill box and it did say if the Morning after pill didn't work my periods would be lighter and i coudl still have my first period even if i was pregnant (sorry if i'm confusing you all, gah i cant make sense lol) Uh.. so yeh...

I decided, after my period, i will take the test i bought. It says "Use as early as 4 days before your period is due" that doesnt meen i have to right? I can take it AFTER my period yeh? I know, i may sound stupid, cause it will do the same thing as it's ment to. But like i said i'm edgy and i want to do everything right.

Sorry if i sounded stupid. I'm honestly quiet nervous. Since my period was different to the rest.

Ok, first stay calm!! Everything will work out ok.

The first "period" as they say can/may be the baby implanting on the wall of your womb. When the baby attaches you can lightly bleed and it may be mistaken for a period.
You can take the pregnancy test anytime you want. They say it may be better to take it two weeks after your period is due..that way you know for sure if you are pregnant or not.

Anyway, let me know what happens.

Jeese, i wouldn't know what to do if i was pregnant.

The guy i'm with.. well we're engaged and we have been for over a year now. So we are very much attached.

But anyways, Is it ok if i take the test tomorrow? I have only just come off my period today.

Would that be ok?

But thats the thing... I've had my period. It says i can still have my period but it may be abnormal and will be very light, and thats what it was like.

Now i'm off my period. Should i take it?

The thing is my next period is like August the 19th, i'm not waiting till then.

Emma, you could probably take it now. The thing is if you are pregnant and you have bled...it is really not a period..just that alot of women think it is...if you are pregnant and have bled lightly it may be the baby attaching to the wall of your womb..this sometimes causes a light bleeding or spotting. Go ahead and take the test....if it is negative wait two weeks and take another one. Let me know!

u can take it anytime 10 days after u have sex i was told as the preggers hormone will show up then id the same dilemma after i took the morn after as i got my period 3 days after and was like WHAT is this this shudnt be right the doc told me id get it in a week or 2 so go ahead an take it uv waited long enough!

I have a funny feeling it may of been my period and not a sign that i'm pregnant cause it lasted for the 5 days.. *shrugs* what do i know.

Well, if it lasted for five days I would say most likely you are not pregnant. Also, I would until your first pee in the morning..that is when the pregnanct hormone is the most strong.

I read the instructions, it says i don't have to do it in the morning if i don't want to.

Just took it now, it saysd negative, i didnt know it qwould be so nerve racking

LOL. Just so you know, the morning is the best time to take any pregnancy test just cause the pregnancy hormone is higher in the mornings with your first pee. I really dont think you are pregnant...if you have symptoms or anything just wait two weeks and take another one.

How long does it take for syptoms to kick in.

I doubt i'm pregnant, i tok the morning after pill 10 hours after so it was pretty effective.

I shall take another in 2 weeks time, damn they are so pricey!
