hi everyone,
just woundered when you become pregnant how many scans do you have and at what week in your pregnany are these scans??
also which week is it they can tell the sex of the baby??

Hiya

I'm no expert on this but my GF is pregnant at the minute. You have a 12 week scan and a 20 week scan which is the one when they tell the sex. Other then this unless there are any high risks or further complications I'm unsure wether you will have any more.

Hi 2 scans is the norm at the hospital your booking in scan between 8-12 weeks if you found out early and then the big scan at 20weeks were they will look for the sex if however your baby decides to keep there legs crossed they wont be able to tell .

If you really want to know the sex of the baby you could opt to pay for the 3d scans you will have to look into that in your area.

I've had two one at 12 - 14 weeks depending on your hospital etc and one 18-20 weeks this scan checks heart spine profile and placenta etc it also might be a lil longer than your first scan and you also can find out the sex if it is visable you shouldnt need anymore unless its a multiple pregnancy or if you have some problems they would like to monitor but normally its 2

o0o the first when you get a lil piccie of your precious alien haha thats what ours looked like but on second scan its amazing how the face is like his sister and the lips and all

It depends I had teribly trouble staying pregnant ad hve them every 2 weeks
