If your PC has 10-gig in its hd.. Get Ubuntu...
Poop windows out of your life...

Easy.. Download any Ubuntu image, to desktop... (Use Ubuntu-710 for older computers.. Ubuntu-804 for newer towers)...

Download Image Burn...

Burn Ubuntu Image to image CD... Use a CDRW if you intend to occasionally update your install CD...

Remove all your files, tunes, pix, and treasures, to CD or Flash-drive...

Reboot, with the Ubuntu CD in the slot... The program does the rest... About 5- hours of installing and downloading... When it reboots the last time, you are all set to go on the Internet...

Ubuntu installed perfectly in the Compaq Presario, but I'm having difficulty in getting it to start its install in the Dell Dimension... I've read that there are cures to this Dell glitch...

Three or four serious updates just-happen... All you gotta-do is click ok's, when a popup asks for your permission... Linux is based upon honesty and freedom... It makes you feel like you're a part of the human race, not a meal for the corporate world of money eaters...
It's like taking your first step out of hell...

After it's installed and updated, it's a complete operating system, full of all the things you must search for in the Internet's hells and war zones... There isn't any of that corporate-shitt with Linux... Plus you don't have to pay for anything, unless you want to... It's all free, free as yellow leaves in fall... And it's a lot faster than microsoft... And it's clean... And it feels human... And it feels like microsoft's claws and tight-grip has suddenly been removed from my throat and nuts, and its prickly-finger is finally been pulled out of me bum.. I don't feel it wiggling in there anymore...
And I don't have-to virus scan every new-download, like I had-to with microsoft stuff... And still a microsoft skilled bully got into my PC's OS's, and destroyed them faster than a hiccup... To Hell with microsoft!..

Everything you're searching for, all over the Internet, to enhance your W98 experience, is in that Ubuntu download... And it runs pretty-much the same as W2000 does... The buttons, things, and places, are mostly the same...

First thing I'm gonna do is give Ubuntu a test drive in a bunch of the nastier websites...

Second thing I'm gonna do is load Ubuntu to all my W2000 hd's...

Third thing.. I'm gonna put all my microsoft stuff in a box, cover the box with a sealed plastic bag, and put it in the shed , beside the weed-killer, sheep manure, and fertilizer bags...

Forth thing I'm gonna do, is open every window I can find in Ubuntu, and try to wreck the operating system by doing silly things to it... It's an old spare 4-gig, that isn't much good for anything but w98, or the trash.. so I loaded it up with Ubuntu to experiment and test it... One thing I found, is that if you install with a windows OS still on the hd, the Ubuntu install might not let you delete certain windows peripheral softwares, like "photo-plus 8"... Next install I will delete all the add-on downloaded and CD installed windows-softwares before installing Ubuntu...

First thing you gotta do.. is pull the plug on your computer for a week, and take a rest from "perpetual internet-school"... Then download Ubuntu... You know the rest...
If you are bored with Windows, you'll have a lot of fun with Linux... Once you try Linux, you'll never want to even look at another windows OS... You don't see the labels "microsoft" anywhere in your face in this Linux OS.. and there aren't all those goofy windows flags, and nauseating gaudy crap...

When I started to download Ubuntu for the first time.. W2000 crashed four times in a row... So I changed the hd, and got a download image CD of Ubuntu-710... I wonders what could make the Windows OS crash the moment I click to download Ubuntu..? I'm thinking it's the gorillas who are into my PC's Windows OS's who crashed the OS in an effort to stop me from switching to Linux.. because it's difficult, or impossible, to snoop in modern Linux PC's...

I got SeaMonkey installed in Ubuntu.. and changed the OS settings to suit me.. and now it doesn't feel any different than W2000 was, except all the microsoft mess is gone... Plus it's Cleaner, Faster, un-cluttered, user friendly, Free, Honest, No EULA insanity, no threats, no snoopers in my PC, no updaters killing the hd, no one trying to kill the OS, no need to purchase any extra softwares, no more crashes, no more "microsoft" and "windows" logos crap all over the place in my face... It's just an all around good clean computer operating system, full of everything you need from installing it just once...
It comes with music handlers, video handlers, CD processors, photo editor, Firefox, Email client, Stickies, Games, BitTorrent, Sound recorder, Office, and you can get in to the system to makes changes oh so easily... And the Linux friendly Linux forums tell you how to make all those changes, there aren't any secrets... Getting out of windows, into Linux, is like leaving hell behind squirming in its own excrements... I never thought Linux could be so easy... It's super easy to learn... It's not much different than how W2000 works.. only much better... It's a lot better than Windows-#2, Xpee, Vomista, and SevenPoos.. and it's being updated by the minute 24/7, by thousands of experts in the public sectors... And you can update your install CD anytime, just by erasing it, downloading the new one, and copying it as an image to any CD... Simple as that... No more paying 700-bucks for an obsolete Windows install CD.. it's free... No more screwing with repair disks... No more security keys and codes... No more registrations... No more paying through the nose... No more being bullied by the money-sucking corporate world of "hell on earth"... When you switch to Linux you've rejected hell...

One little glitchy thing.. If the Ubuntu-804 image CD doesn't do everything it's supposed to, it may be that your hd isn't totally compatible.. Use the U-710 image of Ubuntu instead... It will update itself up to Ubuntu-804... Forget U-810 unless you haver an ultra modern state of the art PC... 804 will do...

You can even install U-710 in a 4-gig hd.. but it's too small to take the updates up to U-804...

I just found that the scary thing about Linux is the four tiny things you must learn to do to install software.. but several websites walk you through it with simple instructions and screen-shots, making it about as easy as "editing a pix for the first time"...

You wouldn't believe what Ubuntu does in the case of downloads...
You don't have to search for them... You click up install/uninstall.. and it searches the Web for softwares available, and gives you a huge list... Linux is three times better than Windows... And you don't feel like Big Brother is watching you with Linux.. probably because they aren't... And it doesn't feel anymore like microchoke has a choke-hold on your throat... Dump Windows, and get Ubuntu-804... Linux is like all the good stuff about Windows, without all the crap, expense, and grief...

Announcing a brand new Windows operating system.. and it's totally Free!..
It'll run on a 6-gig hd... (the little Xubuntu will run on a much smaller hd, but it doesn't have as many features as Ubuntu has)

You will be absolutely amazed at how much you can do with this new system, that you couldn't do with XP and Vista... And it's so simple too...

Download it to desktop...
After it's finished, remove all your treasures, including bookmarks and favorites, from the PC, onto CD or flash drive...
Put a CDR CD int the slot, not a RW, and make an image CD of the download...
Reboot the PC with CD in the slot, and follow the instructions...
Choose "guided partition"... Answer a few questions.. and let it do its thing...
In about 40-minutes it will be ready to reboot...
Then it will update itself with 260 updates...

It's easier to use than XP and Vista were... And it does a lot more than XP and Vista ever could.. and it's free...
It isn't gaudy, nor cluttered, nor is there any advertising in it... And you can customize it beyond belief... And it doesn't get hit by hackers like W98, W2K, XP, and Vista do... It doesn't need to be defragged... It doesn't need registry cleaners... It doesn't lock-up... It's just like running XP and Vista, but without all the crap... And you don't need any key codes... And there are thousands of free softwares for it.. and you don't need to go onto the Internet searching for new softwares.. You just tell it's Add/Remove window to search for the software you want, and it finds it, and installs it, from honest trusted places, all for free...

If you have an old Windows 98 install CD, It might be a good plan to format your hd with the W98 CD before you do anything else... And to be doubly sure, it might be a good plan to pull the battery for about ten-minutes before you fdisk-format with W98 CD, but it's not necessary.. but sometimes XP & Vista refuse you to install anything new...
The W98 CD fdisk formatting eliminates that problem by totally cleaning-out all that Windows security EULA crap...

If you've got a spare hd.. change it for the one that's in your PC, and start from the top of this page...
You will be bouncing in your chair, screaming that this is exactly what you've been looking for...
And it's without all the Window's bullshit... It's the difference between hell and heaven...
