confused?? brown discharge?

hi,
i just read in another post that having brown discharge can be a sign of pregnancy?
is this true? me and my partner are trying for a baby, any responses would be helpfull! thanks

Hi again Amy....

Some women can have a slight brown or pink discharge when you ovulate, and some women have a pink or brown discharge when a fertilised egg is implanted into the uterus from a week after you have ovulated, called implantations spotting. This is really common in the first trimester of pregnancy also, especially around 6-7 weeks, as the embryo snuggles into the womb lining. HTH!

Just have loads of sex - every other day, and every day for a few days dueing the time you are ovulating (do you know when you ov? Look out for signs such as thicker stringy cervical mucous (sorry, TMI), ov pains real low down on left or right side of abdomen, and make sure some of his "boys" are there a coupleof days before you ov to make sure they are there to meet the egg when it is released), try to stop smoking - both of you - if you smoke...makes a massive difference on sperm count, enjoy baby practising)! Especially when you are mid cycle, but don't just restrict it to then! Start taking folic acid (prevents illnesses in bubs such as Spina Bifida, gets lots of exercise, fresh air, and relax. Try not to get too stressed about the whole thing....it makes such a difference! Such a glamarous time is baby making! Good luck xxx

Hi i'm new to this so i apologise if i ramble lots. we're being trying for a baby for approx 2 yrs but more so recenting taking temperatures etc. my temperature chart has been up and down anything between 35.1 to 36.7. According to the chart i could have ovulated 4 times. Anyway, i was due on last sat but didn't come on so did a test which was negative, then another on monday neg again! on tuesday i had extremely light brownish pink spots a few times then nothing. i did another test wednesday which was neg again. since then i've been having very light pink/brown spotting with little tingle pains in belly and have been really tearful but nothing else. i normally have extremely painful heavy periods so am really confused.

i know i'm probably just hoping for something thats not there but i read some of your comments on implantation bleeding and was intreged. i guess if the bleedings become heaver that will answer question!

i never knew that having brown discharge could be a sign of pregnancy either! you never know.. you might be pregnant! have you been to the doctors? as the home tests might be wrong. x

I have made a doctors appointment for monday as a follow on from all the testing we've been doing plus my mom said that she had 2 months of bleeding with my youngest sis.

but i've just start to get p pains so i'm not holding out much hope, i hate this time of month especially when you get your hopes up for being late etc. who said getting pregant was easy!!!

sorry im new on here but i am very confussed i have read the posts put i just dont no right here goes

at the start of this week i have spotting just when i went to the toilet and wiped my self as you do i got ready for my period but nothing happened i had one day tuesday where i have a little bit of blood lose but then nothing wednesday was the same as monday only noticed when in the toilet, me and my partner have been trying for a baby for nearly two years but with nothing i am very confussed could i be preg at last i have done two preg tests but both neg am i taking it to early

we would be so happy if i was preg but i just dont understand what this week is about i am due on but no pains unless you count the ones in my back and my side and being really snappy

Last month whilst mid pack through my pill I had really sore boobs like if I was about to start a period but was nowhere near my period! I also had signs of sickness! That disappeared about a week later but I still carried on taking my pill.

I had my 7 day break as I am on Microginon 30 and has a period. Then I was 4 days into my next pack and decided I really didn't want to be on the pill no more and haven't taken my pill for 2 days. A few hours ago I notice brownish discharge like in my knickers but that's it?

What can this mean? Am I due on or is this a sign of an ovulated egg?

Your help would be fantastic!!!

hi am newbie, iam 28 years old i have a daughter the age of 7, but before i had her i misscaried, at 6 weeks, then a year down the line i gave birth to my daughter, ive been waiting till there was a long age gap, last year i tryed for another baby but misscared that one last yr october 6 weeks, i am now been trying to get pregnant for 7 months still no joy, but last month i was due to start my period, i got a distcharge brown ish, boobs were sore ect, but that was it, so like a good girl thought i might be preg so went to shops bought a test but neg, so now i am due for a period again, boobs are sore but theres no sign of my period. havent taken a test recently........ has anyone every experanced this before?????i dont feel preg no morring sickness no nothing just very tired, oh and migraines.

oh when i was pregnant with my daughter the test only gave me a really bad fant line so had to have blood test done to confirm.

can any one advise me to wats going on, or had the same symthoms?

I think I may have ovulated on the 20th of this month, so am expecting my period to show up around this weekend...if not then I may take a test...as this doesn't feel like a period at all....Any updates oj your situation?

yeah i was preg, but started my period on 27 sep and started real bad craps and bk ache, and i have lost yet another baby, i just cart get over the six weeks mark, iam going to have to make an appointment to see the doc i carnt carry on like this its breaking my heart everytime i lose one, hope all turns out for you hun

hi i am new to this was just looking up brown discharge and came across this im really confused!
i had a miscarraige at 8 weeks over new year and had an erpc 4 weeks and 5 days ago. me and my partner have been having intercourse unprotected even though you are meant to wait for your next period before trying to get pregnant again i couldn't wait that long!
for about 5 days now i have had a brown discharge when i wipe and occasionally a little more in my knickers and im confused as to what this could be!
i have had no period, no pain or anything like that no sign of my period even coming but i have a had a strange taste in my mouth which i just cant get rid of for about a week now!
does anyone have any idea what this could be?
