Should there be a GAY/SINGLE tax?

Postby Fred75 on Thu Apr 10, 2008 3:12 pm

As a father... I have children that I feed and cloth so they can grow up and add to society and pay taxes.
TAXES that will, by the way, support my social security when I retire.

Now those that are gay or single without children are not going to have or wont have children but they too will get older and retire.

Now MY children will also be subsidizing THEIR retirement!

Is that fair?
Why should my children bear the burden of supporting them?

Should they not be double taxed for their lack of contribution of more tax payers?
We Americans are damn tired of being thought of as dumb by the rest of the world. So we went to the polls in November and removed all doubt.

Oh good grief. Singles are already taxed more than marrieds and those with children.

How will your children subsidize their retirement? ? OMG, you teach them how to save and invest. If you want to lean on SS for your retirement, you will live on a "fixed income." It's up to use how to make the most out of money. You can work for it or let it work for you.

What if your children don't want to have children? They will pay more anyway with out the deductions but they shouldn't have to pay for your sorry behind because you want to wait on the government to save for you.

Why should your child bear the burden? Yeah, why should we without children bear the burden of those that chose to have children. We shouldn't

You're beginning too take a very liberal approach to retirement. Be a real man Fred and take care of yourself or you can continue to rely on others to pay your way. I pay more than double of what married with children pay and I don't think it is fair for me to do so. I don't plan on relying for SS for my older years either.

If you didn't know, all those that pay in get back a portion of what we pay. A single doesn't get more than his or her percentage of what is paid in. In other words, we have to pay for your behind because you paid in less than we did. Dummy!

How will your children subsidize their retirement? ?
With more taxpaying children
 OMG, you teach them how to save and invest. If you want to lean on SS for your retirement, you will live on a "fixed income." It's up to use how to make the most out of money. You can work for it or let it work for you.

They should pay double taxes for their own SS.

Good... burn your SS check when you retire.

It's perfectly fair. All the retirement money will be gone when I retire so my check will be directly subsidized by my children.
Problem is... so is your butt!
So your taking money out of my pocket because you were to lazy to contribute more children to society.
MOOCHER!

Bullshit! I mooch off no one. I know how to invest and turn money into more money without ever cheating anyone or taking food out of anyone else's mouth. If I happen to ever see my SS, I will use it. After all it is my money that I paid in. I said I'm not planning on depending on it. You made a similar comment yourself. You know nothing about my financial situation and you have no right to call me a moocher. I give of my good fortune and abundance to others and it is true.... It does come back to us. If you have to resort to bank loans and are in debt, that is your business but I care nothing to have to pay more than my share of taxes because I am fortunate. You are not even thinking clearly about what you are posting here. My retirement looks secure base on some smart decisions I've made and you silly boy, know nothing. Make your own money and stop expecting other people to support you. You of all people surprise me by this posting. It's very liberal. Hand out! Hand out! I thought you were against that. Having more children means the next generation will have to support them. You pay in - you get paid back IF you work. Think in terms of math Fred.

I thought you were a conservative, Fred. But in your effort to be contrarian, you are arguing like an extreme liberal. You want handouts, just like all those other liberals.

Singles subsidize married couples and their children. On your tax return you get to take deductions for your children. Who pays for your tax deduction for kids? Not you, you get the benefit. Singles pay for your deduction. Why should you get a deduction for your children? You made them, you pay to raise them!

Who pays for the public schools? Yes, both you and singles pay taxes, so that you don't have to pay any tuition for grade school through high school and then minimal tuition for college. But who gets the benefits? You do. Singles don't. You made those kids. You should fully pay for their education. Why should singles have to help pay for the public schools, to subsidize your kids, so they can attend for free or nominal amounts?

Just think about how much private schools cost, from grade school through prep school, then how much private universities cost. Add them up for each child. How about paying all that yourself instead of getting a subsidized ride, since you made those kids? Or do you prefer to have singles continue to help subsidize your kids' education?

And yet this isn't enough. You want still more handouts. You want singles to subsidize your retirement too. Typical liberal.

Fred, if you vote for Oh-Bumma, he might like your proposal. After all, he is the most liberal senator in the US. Liberals like class warfare and take great pleasure in soaking the hard workers and achievers, in the name of making everybody "equal".

To Fred: Vote Obama. He's your man on this one. You can fall in with many of his supporters which reproduce like rabbits. Good luck. You will help to continue bankrupting America and destroy the "American Dream". Why work hard and study smart to achieve if we don't have too because it is owed to us by the next generation.

So, which side of the pond are you really on? You speak from both your ass and your face. Yep, I said it.

And why do we need to take care of the earth now? We'll be dead and gone when it all turned to crap and uninhabitable. Is that your mentality as well? Continue to blame.

Just one point--After approximately 4 years, give or take, none of the money you receive from SS was earned by you, and as long as you live thereafter, you are being subsidized by everyone still paying into the SS system. That's government efficiency at work--"wisely" investing your tax dollars for your future.
