To tatoo or not?

Hey everyone!

After getting to my early forties I decided that the time was right to get my ears pierced first much to the astonishment of my partner may I add!!

Then came along the desire to have both nipples pierced - to which he thought I was seeing someone else behind his back

Anyhow all is ok with us now!!

Finally as the heading says - I want to know if I should tatoo?? If so what design do I go for???

My tatooist said that celtic armbands are soooooo 80's so any ideas???

Nicholas42, I think you have almost answered your own question! If you had been up with the fashion in the 80s and had your celtic armband then, you would have been out of fashion now. Whatever it is that's in fashion now is probably going to be so-noughties in twenty years time. So stuff fashion, go for whatever you like. After all, like with most choices, you are the only one who has to live with you for the rest of your life.

Yes I guess you're right Holed - if I want to have a celtic armband or adarn great huge c*** then it's up to me!

Thinking about it I shouldn't care what's in or out as what's the fashion now could be out next time round etc!!!!

In your picture, it appears you have stretched your ear lobes. How big have you stretched them, and do you plan to stretch them further? I have stretched mine to 8 gauge and would love to stretch them further. As for the tats, it is very addictive. I have four myself with plans for more. I have considered getting 1/2 sleeve done.
