But heard one last nite , a guy on the radio was talking about how a long time ago reporters found out some congressman had been in the klan and confronted him about it . His reply was to admit it but add how " Ive never been part of any lynching "
So from then on he was called " Congresman Joe I've never Been Part of Any Lynching Smith "

While it may have saved some votes for him bet back int he deep south of the 1950's not being part of a lyhing cost him votes...............
