Wait until the republicans start socialized medicine for everyone including the illegal immigrants!
That expenditure will be the beginning of the end of the US.
Think taxes like the UK has.
Think 25% of all homes solely subsidized by your taxes like the UK has!

That is not correct.
You are referring to such things as family tax credits (which I get for my kids) and pension credits, which permit you so much back out of money you pay etc.
Do your research please.

Is this not akin to Gerald Ford’s “Whip Inflation Now” campaign? Or Lady-Bird Johnson’s “Beautify American Highways” campaign, for the most impotent White House public campaign on record? Here you have people paying from $90 to $120 a tankful of gas. And he thinks this chump-change is going to have a dent in the economy.
This is the classic case of the republicans insulting American intelligence. “Look over here…don’t look over there,” they say, while passing around candy to the kiddies to distract their attention.
This war is going into its sixth year and it’s finally taking its toll on the US economy. Hence, the need to distract. For all the hee-hawing, economics is not a very difficult field. You buy too many toys you can’t buy food to eat. You spend more than you have you go insolvent. That about covers 9/10s of economics. The Muslim American war is costing upwards of a trillion dollars a year, not to mention the death and bloodshed. These idiots want to add another law of economics: you give the little kiddies Chicklets and you can steal all of their other possessions.
The continuing war in Iraq is draining far more from the American economy than either their welfare, health or education spending will [afterall they all pay dividends to the national health over the long term - all military spending does is make a small elite richer..].
