Well, Im a guy who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. We were playing truth or dare in a small group, and I picked dare. And one of the people dared me to be gay for a week. I was like "WHAT?" So yeah, last Saturday, that friend, took me to a nail salon to get acrylic nails. I felt like a girl over there, and better yet, I had to highlight my hair with bright blonde streaks...weird huh. My natural hair color is brown

I dont mind being metro, but being gay like that is too far. The nails did look pretty nice on me. If only metros would wear them HAHAA. LOL jk. It was too difficult to handle. The cool thing was the tech sculpting my acrylic nails. We had a long conversation about Truth and Dare games...

I currently have solar.... I love it when they have a bit of length.

But here is how I got started. I had UV GEL-Nails ( No Tips ) -- these things are cool but I have them done out of town and no one does them here locally Sad

So I tried Acrylic overlays with out tips. I liked these but they turned yellow.

So I started with Solar Pink Overlays... I liked this but something seemed to be missing.

Last summer had I my nails ( the acrylic removed ) taken off.

Then in September I have these put on for a Cruise --- Acrylic with White Tips


On the Cruise we had them painted with DEL SOL on Fingers & Toes..

The sun turns the clear polish red -- WICKED COOL!!
After I filed these down to go back to work.

I decided to go with Solar Pink & Whites --- doing the American White powder for a while -- eventually I went for the French Bright White Powder for the tip with the Dark Pink Powder....

I like this so much I Had Pink & Whites put on my toes. Note I get French or many other colors every time I get a Pedicure..... Clear is a topcoat---- enhancing the color underneath.

And all this as I dress as a man almost everyday.

Well, I got the sculpted acrylic nails on with the white tips, and they look pretty cool. I dont think that it really looks that good in public. However, it took like an hour for the nails. Ima guy, and normally guys dont get nails, but they look really cool. I cant believe girls do this. So far, this is my second week with the acrylics, and the nail tech was pretty surprised that I would actually get them done. I guess being metro is funner that being called gay. The length of the nails are basic, not too short, and not too long. There really annoying, makes it hard to type and write, but when I click them against the table, its cool. It was semi hard the first day, but then it was completely solid the day after. Acrylics are amazing.
Im definetely doing this again.

the typing and writing thing you get used to after awhile. you figure it out pretty quickly

im not blaming anything "gay" on you because i too do it

mine started as my wife urging me, and after alot of debate, i finally did it, and now love it. i get my nails done normally twice a month. i normally choose a french manicure and pedicure.

my nails are just over 1/2 inch long

ive been getting them done for quite awhile and wouldnt have it any other way.

I'm a male and I get my nails done regularly. I get gel nails and wear red polish all of the time. I really don't care what people think, I'm straight and love long beautiful polished nails. My girlfriend loves it.

I had a french manicure last weekend in Phoenix, and several women in the salon thought it was really cool. I loved it!!!!!!!
