Can't Register???

I've tried registering but I am not recieving the confirmation email in order to activate my account. I know my email address is fine because I have recieved a femalefirst newsletter, but no activation email.

I had to choose another user-name and email address because the first one kept screwing me around with the registration code. I put in the exact same one as shown each time, but it kept saying I had entered the wrong code. Then, on the fourth try it said to try again later because I had used up all the attempts for the time being. I tried the next day and it said that email address and user-name had been banned! -I hadn't even posted yet!
After more stuffing about I opened yet another email account and managed to register here, but it's over a week and I still haven't got my registration email, so I tried registering again with the same details, but it says that user name and password are already being used.
I've been getting spam emails from this forum for the past five or six days, but clicking on the spam opt-out link comes up with a blank page.
I still have no membership confirmation email and trying to log-in comes up with a message saying no such user exists!

Given that this forum is an extension of an on-line store, it's not going to help them with their sales by treating potential members like this.

I don't know if it's related, but apart from the newsletter (which seems to upset some people a great deal ) I stopped getting any e-mails from FF around the time of the "big crash" - so I no longer get notification of PMs or friends requests.
Did the crash leave some bugs in the e-mail system ???

I registered last night with two different user names in an attempt to get my registration sorted out. Still no email on either account, and when I try to register again, it says user name is already in use!!

I am Funberry...if admin can help, please do!!!
