you should 1st consider physically if you are able to fit it in.

but i am sure it can fly if you have a wing at the side to control the air flow

From memory a fiesta has 4 wings

You could try driving as fast as you can off a cliff & see if you fly ...

if you can find a way to fit it in and make the engine run without destroying your car then it may have a chance to fly. just put a propeller in front of the bumper where the engine is then attach 2 airplane wings on both sides and then a radder at the back then off your car goes. nice plane

you might be surprised to know that a lot of light aircraft use a flat four ,air cooled boxer engine very similar to a VW Beetle. In the past people have used Supermarine Spitfire Rolls Royce Merlin Engines which are a V10 with a supercharger but these are now far too valuable to stick in your Fiesta

ahhh reminds me of a darwin award, a guy stole a rocket thing thats used to get large planes up into the air from small runways (eg SUPER POWER!) straped it to his roof securely and clicked fire when he had his car on a straight road. obviously he sped alot quite quickly and soon took off into the air and ended up as a hole in the cliff, erm his tyres melted before he flew and erm they believe he died instantly. went down as accidently death.

and the best bit, one bit of the car remained complete with not marks or damage. a sign reading Drive Safely.

Looking at this old thread, I can't help thinking that the OP was not seriously considering this, given the size of the engine bay of a Ford Fiesta, but it might interest some of you to know that it has been done in the past, albeit with much larger vehicles. I did a bit of googling and came up with this example: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! Not the one in the book or movie, but a 1920's racing car, and here's what the site had to say about it:

The car was created by England-dwelling, Polish nobleman Count Louis Zborowski who created four high-performance large-engined vehicles all dubbed by him to be “Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang” (words derived from Cockney rhyming slang). This car, number 2 in the series, was built on a Mercedes chassis around an enormous 18.8-liter Benz BZ IV series aircraft engine. Back in the day, this 230 horsepower engine was able to carry the car to speeds reaching 113 mph. Zborowski raced the car only once at Brooklands and later took the car to tour the Sahara Desert.

Author Ian Fleming was inspired by the Count and his cars and adopted the car's name for his novel “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” - which in 1968 was made into the successful movie.
